Nothing exciting happening decluttering wise as I'm currently stuck in a cycle of feeling like I've got too much, but unable to identify what needs to leave. Will wait for inspiration to strike whilst I try to get something out everyday.I did pack up a charity bag for DH to take. Need to do more though as the box is still full. I also cleaned out and reorganised the veg section of the fridge so I can see what I have; I've been putting that off for ages!Digital:
5 - emails deleted from permanent folders
Physical:
6 - battery overstock used up
1 - kids shoes outgrown (charity bag)New total = 5,998Might have a scout around later whilst I put a few bits away and see if I can find anything else to eject and get over 6,000! I did have a look in the upstairs cupboard that seems too full to me, but it mainly seems full of things to be used up where I have a bit too much (kids activity stuff, light bulbs, batteries, wrapping paper, bathroom stuff) and so I didn't make any headway, although taking the charity stuff out to pack did help a little bit. May need to reassess whether I will ever use up the stuff in there and eject the things I don't think I'm going to get to in the next couple of years.2025 decluttering: 3,452🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

The T!vo engineer arrived replaced the box and also checked out the points where the cable comes into the house and replaced the cable to router too!
All very efficient and a nice chap too.Thank you for the words of encouragement Mrs SD, I’m just feeling a smidgeon deflated at present for various reasons. None of which are significant on their own but the combination has given me the ‘purple pim’ (Box of Delight fans will know that one) / a fit of the moody blues (not yet at the mean reds however)✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Mrs SD - I am already thinking about next years Easter makes. I need to do new items.
Today has been a busy day again.
I went to SA - sorting bags of donations - foyer was heaving with stuff. Then I was counting with C - not done it for 3 weeks.
Mr F took a trolley of stuff to the charity shop. He met me at SA so had his lunch there. Then we both took stuff to the charity shop - he had the shopping trolley and I carried a large bag.
Popped home quickly for a cuppa then went back to SA. Did some more sorting of donations while Mr F sorted out the Corps recycling bins.
I have ordered Mr F some new wide fitting shoes - his others have lasted well - I get them vat free which helps as they are not cheap.
Then it was back to SA for 9 to take in the food delivery - 2 sacks from Co o. and 4 boxes from Mr T - took a long time sorting and trying to fit in the fridge. Lots was put in the freezer as well.
Having a cuppa before a shower then bed.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Decluttered more fabric into a purple tunic dress, just need to sort the hem. I have also restrained myself from buying more fabric and am working through my remaining stash.
Official resignation letter given in at work yesterday, v strange feeling but off to new adventures. Break up for r Easter on Thursday and have decided to start packing up the house little by little and decluttering even more14 -
A momentous occasion @Florafauna! I hope you enjoy that sense of freedom as you hit the summer holiday and realise that September won’t be looming over you at the end of August. Looking forward to hearing about the new adventures!Thank you for my medal Mrs SD 😊16

Many thanks for my star Mrs SD, I need to update my signature.I’m going to count these as neutral items and one lot in decluttered items. Some of the items were originally neutral items that became forgotten items when the organiser could just not take them a couple of years ago and they are not the sort of items another organiser could use. when I looked in a box having a tidy up I pulled out some forgotten neutral items and I pulled out a couple of items I did know about that have been stashed for a couple of years, neutral that have become items needing to be decluttered
Neutral are only supposed to be a short term save until they go out to relevant fundraisers IYSWIM…..abit confusing, esp when they stray into needing to be decluttered.
However after a small sanctuary that DD supports put a call out for prizes for raffle/tombola I managed to sort out 25 items (a mix of neutral and some old neutral items decluttered), all brand new, a good mix that will hopefully raise some much needed funds.Neutral items 257+25= 282 now gone for fundraising
Main decluttering
110) The ‘neutral’ items found/outstayed their welcome and needed to go to do what they were supposed to do….raise monies…….evicted!111) some of DDs cookery items left behind passed onto DD
112) birthday card for DD that was sitting round the house until I was able to see DD….passed on
113) large amount of soft plastics taken to supermarket recycling pointDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hi all, a reasonable day yesterday. The kitchen recycling and bedroom bin were emptied. The cc bill was paid then I did the ironing, pats herself on the back although more will appear when the maiden is cleared
. As the weather was dry I took myself out into the garden and did some weeding, about 1 bag full distributed between the burning bin, ln's green bin and the compost pile
. Not hard work but it was nice to be outside for a while. After tea I decided to tackle the emails, 300 deleted
@Wednesday2000 hope your cat is doing ok hugs. At certain times of the month I used to crave sugar so maybe it is connected to hormonal changes, if it bothers you maybe have a word with the doctor. I know there are lots of variations of hrt so something else might suit you better. I only lasted 3 months on hrt as it put my blood pressure through the roof and I cba messing around with it and found other ways to sort myself out but I did have a relatively easy if long change, hugs.
@Vulpix even though I have no clothes suitable to wear it with I like the sound of that shawl
@D123456789 well done on getting to the loft. SYLO included a loft last night. I thought they did particularly well with the children's clothes.
@Soontobeoap isn't it amazing what finds it's way into a wardrobe
@Florenceem you are amazing with the amount you do. On a previous post you mentioned moses baskets and I have remembered a colleague used to do voluntary work for a charity called baby basics who were always looking for moses baskets. If they have someone near you maybe they could take them.
@QueenJess I find the thing with light bulbs and batteries is as soon as you have used the last spare one five more bulbs go and everything that needs a battery dies
@florianatwobob sorry to hear you are feeling a bit out of sorts hugs
@Florafauna good luck with your new adventures
Not sure what I will do today, I am in need of a haircut so I might wander down to see if they can fit me in today. Hugs to everyone who would like one
