Forgot to mention that yesterday it rained from about 15:30 right the way through to midnight 😔 Today I was up about 10:00 but am wearing my fluffy dressing gown. DSis is also up - awaiting a call from the dr. She has in fact received a text & needs to book an appointment 😔 Wheelie bin has been emptied & now has a new bin liner + I have dealt with my post. Sunday lunch is cancelled as sadly DH’s niece S has another hernia 😢 I have managed to source a get well card & as DH & DSis have just gone out it will be posted immediately 😉 They have headed off (12:45) to buy a new phone for DSis £££ 😥 From a bright sunny start, the weather has changed to yet more rain ☔️ DH & DSis got back having been sorely disappointed ☹️ Only the latest model in store, a shop full of ‘assistants’ & not one of them offered any assistance. DH did some research online & DSis has ordered a phone which is being delivered on Saturday. Dinner was ordered in - burgers & fries. DSis did the wudupa.

Lagging behind as usual... I'm pages behind reading posts. My sight in my right eye is very poor at the moment so reading is a strain as my left eye is taking up the slack. I've been prioritising work and reading for my next assignment which is due in a couple of weeks.
Other than one day when I wasn't feeling too good after dentist, I have been keeping up with my 10k steps a day. After Easter I hope to make a gentle return to the gym. I've decluttered a kilo of winter weight. I'd love to lose another 2-3kg to be at my most comfortable weight - I plan to keep to my current mindful eating routine ( I use a hypnotherapy app) and gentle exercise. No Easter Eggs for me this year- but I will indulge in a large G&T or two once Lent is over.
Tasks:
Dentist
Vet
Easter flowers & Card to favourite cousin
An hour of Life Admin phone calls / emailsIn (running total 45)
46. Large print bible - should help with the eye strain
47 & 8 . Easter tree & decorationsOut (running total 91)
92. Bundle of papers and training notes
Love to All 💐

@mhagster congratulations on your house sale. So many people moving on to new houses and adventures. Its very exciting.
Yesterday I cleared out all of the base units in the kitchen and cleaned tgem all out. I managed to decant some items in with others. Pleasantly surprised that there was no food waste as I hadnt done it too long ago. (i am getting better at this! 😂) in the evening I made up 12 Easter bunny hats from cardboard from my craft stash for a childrens craft group next Thursday. Half a bin bag filled from both activities. It has made me feel much lighter knowing that the house is clean and tidy beyond the surface.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Nothing to report in but did laugh at @mhagster 'This morning I’m in one of the cupboards at the top of the stairs'. I had the vision of her disappearing into the cupboard like the Narnia wardrobe. Congrats on selling the house. I'm not getting anywhere yet but one has come up where I am looking which could be ideal. Decluttered money for a nice lunch out yesterday. DD has taken stamp collections to auction place but 4-6 weeks before I will hear anything more.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Morning Peeps,
got a little excited about using up 4 cards from the stash box that would normally hold 5 reams of A4 printing paper. We have been using up little note pads and when we leave the table they go straight to the bin by the fire. Gave son a chunky thermos flask for his GF's son to use as he works on site. Another small flask gone into the loft to stay inside the back pack when I go walking. 3 more to leave the property still. Small wins.
Looking around the work area room (back bedroom in a bungalow) there are some clear flat surfaces, I don't record items going out as I am already bad enough with my lists and procrastinating. Am contemplating on the viability of a doing a car boot sale at the weekend. Just done the weather check and it might need to be Sunday.
Parents house has sold.
Have a great Easter weekend

Mr F came back from his nurse appointment - re bandaged but not correctly as they had run out of supplies - again.
I have packed my shopping trolley for Mr F to take to the charity shop this morning.
Done some washing but already had a shower so don't think I will risk putting it out to dry.
Dd is bringing home an empty Easter makes basket on her way home from school today.
We have Passover Meditation at SA tonight.
Got a sore back today - think it is from yesterday - helping our blind guest in and out of the wheelchair.

Hi all, yesterday was more of a trying to day than actually doing :smiley . I was going to see if I could get a haircut so thought I'd take the bag to the cs as well. Hairdresser couldn't fit me in and are shut today so an appointment made for next Wednesday. On to the cs which was shut. I checked their opening hours on the sign in the window "open Tues - Sat" hmm must be having an extra day off. Then I was going to the sm so tried to take the bag to another cs but they had a sign up saying they couldn't accept any more donations atm. Took the bag back to the car and went to the sm where I realised I had forgotten my list so I just got what I could remember and will have to go again today with the list
. Back home I added a book to the cs bag which is still in the boot of the car
then had a sort through of the bathroom stash. I had uu a shower gel so was hunting for a new one to get out. I found one but it looked odd so gave it a sniff and it definitely smelt odd so emptied it down the sink and recycled the bottle and found another one to use. I then had a long phone conversation with ex colleague, who is still working, about a pension issue which unfortunately I can't really give advice on as I am not up to date with it all but I was able to point her in the direction of someone who should be able to help her but we carried on chatting about other things for a further 40 minutes
. Then I sorted out to meet up next Tuesday with a friend who hasn't been able to make our usual get togethers as her hubby has had a stroke and is still in hospital so what with hospital visiting and pre and after school childcare isn't getting much time for herself but as it's the easter break, her daughters are teachers, she hasn't got the childcare so can manage a coffee
. Then I sorted through my pile of books and found one to send off to my sister as I have read it and think she might like it, if not it can go in the cs bag
. So all in all not much decluttering done but hopefully today will be better. I can hear what sounds like some sort of building work being started at a neighbours, noise from about 8.30, but I can't see where or what being nosy as I am
. Good Thursday seems an odd day to start I thought hmmm.
@mhagster well done on the books and good luck with the move, in your marks.....go
@Vulpix the cape is amazing
@Floss that does sound a bit high, worth giving the doctor a call
@Florenceem I seem to remember baby basics only take clothes for up to 3 month olds but hopefully they will get back to you soon
@florianatwobob well done on getting through the exam, crumble and custard gum
@oceanspirit I often make a soup or stew with bits of left over veg and some beans or lentils. I don't really have a receipe as it all depends on what I have but it is a good way to use them up. I do find it annoying though that the shops now don't seem to stock dried beans, only tinned which are more convenient as they don't need soaking but are much less cost effective. I used to get dried mixed beans and even OH used to like themI am sure you are making excellent progress
@Mrs SD, I think that is quite brave buying a phone online. I have only had 4 mobile phones and I insist the shop transfer everything as I am hopeless but I know what you mean about loads of assistants standing around not assisting, I usually demand someone comes and helps and then ask all sorts of questions that they can barely stop themselves from rolling their eyes at but they generally sort it for me
Hugs to everyone who would like one, off for another cuppa

I need a new phone too as my phone has terrible storage. My brother always has iPhones so he said I could have one of his old ones.
My cat has gone for her scan today. I'm still in bed having a cup of tea as I still have this cough. She needs to be picked up after 4.
I liked the family on Sort Your Life Out and their house looked unbelievably better afterwards. I saw on Dillys IG that the show won an award the other day.2025 GOALS
