Hi Jumping back in here if that’s okay. I’m selling my too big house that has plentiful storage and moving to a smaller one that has absolutely zero storage but so much charm I might be able to overlook it! So I need to clear here first so I’m not overwhelmed there!I’d already had a pre-going up for sale declutter and charity shopped about 8 big bags of stuff and gave away stuff on local FB page. This morning I’m in one of the cupboards at the top of the stairs which houses a tall bookcase full of children’s books. My children are all adults with homes and lives of their own. However middle daughter has been in tears this morning as I’m apparently throwing away her childhood! No I’m not I’m asking you to select what you want to keep and what you want to ship to Australia!I have a bag of 18 books that I will shortly take to charity bookcase in local supermarket.I’ve found some Easter stuff that we will use up this weekend. ( that came back from Australia six and a half years ago!)
Put a set of books that I bought my unborn baby 29 years ago up on FB so they are getting collected later. I’m just happy to pass them on…not all books are sentimentally attached apparently!Right I’m making a start…wish me luck! There’s a load!

Liverpool Anne - I am eating a big bowl of fresh fruit instead of a sugary drink as I thought that must be healthier. I do have to go back to my GP to get my cholesterol checked as it was high last time so I will mention it then.

TC 77, Thank you for the used stamp info,I will get onto that.
I am sorry to hear that your cat is poorly Wednesday.
Granny Kate, I have sent stamps to the horse sanctuary years ago. I wasn't sure if they still wanted them. Thank you. They can have some of my collection too.
Good luck mhagster, it sounds like you already have the bull by the horns.
Exciting adventures ahead Flora.
Gosh, for someone who doesn't enjoy painting I seem to do a lot of it. Both bird tables have had 3 coats of paint. Garden bench next.
Off to pack up more stuff at Mum's house. Books today. Another few visits and the sitting room will be empty. Then drop stuff off with Mum, take last times sorted stuff to the chazzer, visit to B n q for iron furniture paint and visit the print shop to see if they can make me a poster I have an idea for. I would do it myself if my computer skills were good enough. Sure there is something else,it will come to me probably when we are back home.
I finished altering the evening dress and sorted out a pull on the flamboyant cape. Red doesn't suit me at all but the cruise we hope to go on in September has a red and gold evening hence only spending a tenner on the outfit as it will only ever be worn for a few hours. Bit by bit's blanket is coming on,I have been doing it whilst waiting for paint to dry. I will take a pic of the cape for those of you of a flamboyant nature!
Right, off to tidy round before my cleaner comes.

Liverpool_Anne - I have emailed that charity - thanks for your help. I got more baby items donated today.
vulpix - great outfit for not a lot of money.
Floss - definitely get another blood test as that is a high number.
I did sleep well - ready for another busy day.
Mr F took a trolley of stuff to the charity shop while I went to SA. He called in to see me as he couldn't have lunch there because of a nurse appointment to have his legs re bandaged.
Lots of sacks of donations to sort today - as fast as I clear the foyer - more comes in. I had help from one of the rough sleepers - he carried the sorted sacks to the outside crates.
I was on usual wheelchair duty - it seemed like a lot of folk wanted the toilet at the same time - queues for the disabled one.
I had to listen to a complaint which I passed on to another person - then I had to step in to break up a squabble. I reminded the two ladies that is is a friendship club.
We had a lovely roast chicken dinner followed by gateau or fruit - I brought Mr F some home - too tired to cook tonight.
I think sales of Easter bits at Dd's school have gone well.

More dribs and drabs decluttered (still looking for inspiration). I did also buy some hooks for the downstairs cupboard and got DH to install them, so all done in that section of it. Looked around the kitchen, but I need to declutter a lot more food before I can rearrange things and potentially get rid of more stuff. Will start looking up some recipes to get rid of specific items that are hanging around.
1 - DS tat recycled
1 - broken beyond repair tin opener (binned)
1 - broken beyond repair scooter (binned)
1 - storage jar not needed (Buy Nothing)
1 - packaging, reused
New total = 6,003

Lots of little niggly things dealt with over the past couple of days as my concentration span is a bit too short to get stuck into anything bigger and it’s good to get them done. Lots more bits of paper gone as part of that. More tinned beans gone into HM soups for the freezer and am pleased with how much better I have handled the veg and other perishables this week. Will tackle a couple of bigger things tomorrow if energy levels allow.
We looked around yesterday and are generally pleased with how much better the place is looking although there is still plenty to sort out and get rid of. The slow pace isn’t ideal but it’s all we can do and we are seeing progress.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅18
