Mrs Salad Dodger - sorry that the dentist didn’t have good news for you this time. Your knitting is lovely as always and the hat, scarf and gloves will be such a welcome gift.Love the gym/studio Flowepot. I hope that you all enjoy using it now!
Florafauna - gorgeous dress which looks adaptable for Spring and Autumn too. You are on a roll with getting your next project cut out!
Good wishes and healing vibes to poorly people and pets 💐
Well done to everyone for keeping up with the decluttering inspiration 👏
No really exciting decluttering going on here but I am nibbling away at things and seeing spaces appear. Seeing where I have developed problems in the past is resulting in my forming new resolutions as I tackle little areas.I recently bought four new jumpers in the sales, all at half price or less. My previous wardrobe sorting had identified that some aging tatty numbers needed replacing, however I held onto them as I still needed something to wear in the cold weather and they were less bad than the ones that I binned. Normally, I could not put new things away as the drawers would be full, therefore anything new was basically homeless. This time I was able to just remove the jumpers that I was replacing, plus some cardigans that I just don’t seem to wear, and put the new ones away. It was a revelation for me, although probably completely normal for most people! Some of the items are for the bin but others could go for reuse. It is so much easier to manage stuff when there is less of it.15 -
I did do some more decluttering today as the rubbish and recycling goes out tonight. I threw away two old tea towels that I had been using to clean the floor. I had a shower and used up the end of a tube of toothpaste, the end of a face wash and the end of a shampoo bottle. I ordered my pets some new beds so there was a lot of packaging to go outside too. I went out and took the wine bottles to the recycling bin.
I was thinking that I have been on HRT for almost 3 months now. I have noticed that when I am on the Evorel 50 patches I crave sugary drinks, which is a weird side effect. I bought myself some appletiser today and yesterday, which I never normally drink!
I just finished my current book so I think I will walk on the treadmill for a while.
Sort Your Life Out should be on tonight.

Good morning from a dry, sunny but chilly East London 🙂 I am up but not dressed & have just woken DSis. She finally has an appointment at a Respiratory Clinic (later today) but has been given 2 different locations in opposite directions 😔, so needs to phone & check which one to attend. I have my 1st cuppa & am settling down to catch up with the cheerleading 😉….. Good job that DSis checked - as the right hand didn’t know what the left hand was doing & she was not actually booked in 😠 So no appointment & she is waiting for a new appointment for next week 😔 DSis has had a call back almost immediately & is now booked in for next Tuesday 🙂 5 minutes later another call & she also has an appointment this Thursday 🥳 Apparently twice a week for 6 weeks.
Excellent decluttering Pennypincin 👏 a medal 🏅 is on its way. Good luck with the tidying & organising which should hopefully be easier the more you declutter 🍀
Belated birthday greetings to your DD QueenJess 🎂 🥳 Sounds like she had a lovely day 😊 Good luck with the ongoing encouragement for DS 🍀 hopefully watching SYLO with you & his desire to have fewer items in his room will mean that he has some successful mini decluttering sessions 🤞😊
~FlowerPot~ 🤩 What an impressive art studio now art studio/gym 🤩😊 Fingers crossed that now you have most of your equipment, the three of you will enjoy exercising in such a wonderful setting 🤞You have some beautiful paintings 😻 Perhaps you could sell a few to fund the rest of the equipment 🤔
Great decluttering Pennypincin 👏
GrannyKate, Belated birthday greetings to DGS4 🎂 🥳 More excellent decluttering 👏
Deni_debt-free_dreamer, sorry to hear about the shoulder 😔 although hopefully now that you have some exercises to do it will get better 🤞 Some great decluttering & well done on dealing with your pension frog 👏
Florenceem, another busy day yesterday 👏 I am very impressed at your organisation - already planning your Christmas crafting makes 🤩
Excellent decluttering zoomtothemoon 👏
Muddy_Walker, please take it slowly 🙏 Remember the TLC Carriage is always available 😊 Great decluttering 👏 Hopefully the ‘extra shopping’ will mean that you & hubby can avoid the shops over the holiday weekend 🤞
Great decluttering Florafauna 👏 just wondering if you have a moving date yet 🤔 - you do remember how curious I am 😂 Lovely word “fuddle” so just gone down a rabbit hole for the last 10 minutes 😉
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 Sounds like you are almost at the Maintenance Decluttering stage if your clutter is now hiding 😊
Nice to see you Fizz2015 👋 Nice to hear that you have things to look forward to - a new work role & a holiday 😊 Fingers crossed for some lovely warm weather 🤞
Shame about the T!vo box florianatwobob 😔 Although it seems to have ended up quite fortuitously 😉 You will be ‘pleased’ to know that once the major declutter has taken place you will then find it easier to tidy & clean & will then move onto the Maintenance Decluttering stage which is more about keeping things out & not keeping items for Ron, Justin or May (aka lateR On, Just In case, MayBe useful) 😉
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏 Like you, I don’t think I will make the quarter mark by the end of the month 😉 but I do think that once the weather picks up I will soon catch up 🙏
Nice to see you Liverpool_Anne 👋 You have had a very busy weekend, so no wonder you didn’t have time to pop in - I was exhausted just reading about all your activities & decluttering which you then continued into Monday 🤩👏 I hope that you have managed to see off the migraine now but if not do pop into the TLC Carriage - the sleep pods are very dark & also soundproofed 🙂 Thanks for the encouragement to try knitting in the round again ……….. just disappeared off & found a 10 minute tutorial for magic loop knitting & watched it 😉 A very pleasant lady with a soothing voice & a very patient attitude 👏 I will start practicing later 🙂
Wednesday2000, we always visit The Coach & Horses in the Market 😉 Never been in the Plume & Feathers but have been in the Gypsy Moth - nice pub but the last time we went in they only accepted contactless payments with NO option to pay in cash. So won’t be using again 😉 So very sorry to hear about your cat 😔
vulpix, unfortunately I have only myself to blame - I am a smoker. So very sorry to hear that your experience was not your fault 😔 Such a pleasure to read that you are in Maintenance Decluttering mode 😊 A lovely reminder to us all that persistence pays 🥳 & further encouragement to continue decluttering 😊 Excellent work repairing the bird table & restoring it to its former glory 👏 Will keep my fingers crossed that the weather finally settles down so that you can commence ‘Operation Garden Tidy’ 🤞Congratulations on the weight loss 👏 That shawl sounds beautiful 🤩
Excellent decluttering D123456789 👏 Well done on being brave & starting your loft decluttering 🥳 a medal 🏅 is on its way 🙂 Fingers crossed that most of the rest of the boxes do belong to DH 🤞 More importantly though good luck with ‘Operation Encourage DH to Declutter The Loft’ 🍀 SYLO looks interesting tonight - 3 boys 🙂
Thank you for the lovely compliment about my knitting Moorviews 😊 Lovely cheerleading 😊 I beg to differ - very exciting decluttering going on 👏 You are creating space & I am very impressed at your wardrobe decluttering 🤩 I could feel your joy emanating from your post 😊 One medal 🏅 winging its way to you 👏
Excellent decluttering Wednesday2000 👏 Is the walking on the treadmill a reward for finishing a book 😉 Sadly SYLO tonight is the penultimate episode 😔 Although I have saved them all so that I can binge watch to get me back into proper decluttering mode 😉
All caught up so will post this & get dressed. I might even do some decluttering 😉

My brother used to work in the Coach and Horses pub when he was a student. I've noticed a lot of places in London don't take cash anymore. It is the opposite where I live now as some places in Southend don't take card payments, only cash.
Speaking of my brother his flat rental has fallen through so I will have to get rid of the furniture another way. Annoying.
Nothing to do with decluttering, but I bought my pets new beds. I bought my dog a bunny for Easter too, although I don't think she celebrates it. 😂

@Wednesday2000 those beds look super comfy
Sorry to hear about your poorly cat
I had no painkillers yesterday for my painful shoulder, first time in 2 weeks. I've been doing my exercises regularly too so hoping to see some improvement.
I've been decluttering work tasks and a vegan sausage roll from the Gregman, a rare treat
I've also got one load of washing LD but the FPA will have to follow after work

Thanks Deni. They have been amazingly quiet all day as the beds are meant to be anti stress.
I actually saw something in that first pic that I am going to declutter. The scratching mat thing as my cats completely ignore it. That might have to be thrown away as it is only made of cardboard.2025 GOALS

I have continued with a bit of wardrobe clearing! Another binbag full gone! They seem to quickly fill woth broken coathangers rags, bits of paper and stuff that has found its way in there. Dh took a lock latch thing off of our toybox. Every time we lift the lid it stuck forward and we were terrified tbat the children would get hurt on it so that has gone too. 😊craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

I made a Birthday card for my Dgs yesterday and did two bunnies with Easter sweets for Dd to take to school.
Mr F had another trip into town to a different charity shop.
We went to SA for supper and top watch a film. C didn't stop the film for an interval so we ice cream at the end.
I had more textile recycling to sort and we took in the food delivery before locking up.
I sorted another trolley of stuff for Mr F to take to the charity shop.
We had lots of top quality men's clothing in a small size donated.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Sorry to hear about the poorly cat Wednesday2000.
I hope the cats on the mend soon.
Congrats to the hard work everyone with the declutterering.
Sounds like people are doing well with socialising too, I hope you enjoy yourselves.
I've managed to add some weights and a mirror to the gone list, along with 2 small plants, a jumper and a hairdryer.
In the process of going out are 2 camera tripods, a medium sized slow cooker, 2 small bowls a small jar and 2 kettle weights.
I've 2 items pending either for the charity shop bag or for someone to take them.
I'm hoping to do some dusting and a proper tidy/sort out at some point along with the house work and homework.
I'm also hoping to keep the momentum going with gradually manually scarifying the garden and keeping on top of mowing the lawn, weather permitting of course.Decluttering campaign 2023
