Thanks for the kind dress comments. I've enjoyed looking at the gym and art space plus the lovely hat, cowl and mittens set. I'm slowly decluttering the insides of my food cupboards in preparation for moving house. Have made a massive curry and cumin flatbreads. Planning to take half of it with me to a friend's house where we are having a fuddle (Derbyshire term for pot luck) tonight.
I'm also further decluttering cloth as I have cut out my next project, a casual jersey tunic dress and will sew it up tomorrow17 -
Tried to do some decluttering/tidying every time I got up from my desk today. I feel like there is still more decluttering that's hiding, but it is spread out and hiding from me so is hard to find. Attempting to find about 5 physical things a day to keep everything moving.Digital:

Popping in to say Hi 👋. All good just work busy with end of tax year. I have 8 working days left in my current role before starting my new role. Really excited now and ready for a new chapter in my career.
In other news we have booked a last minute holiday to Spain, rain is forecast but excited for a break and just chilling.
I am still decluttering slowly in the background and keeping a tally.
Hugs to those who need them, off to catch up on everyone's news.18 -

The new dentist was fine. Sadly my gums & jaw bone are not 😔 I have another appointment next month for X-rays & fillings (NHS) & the hygienist (private). DH had his appointment & is also returning next month for an extraction & bridge work - expensive 😥 As an aside the new dentist (owner) has had the surgery completely re-decorated 🙂 & has all new staff 😞 After the dentist we went to our usual pub in Greenwich for a couple of beers & a chat. We picked up a few bits from M&S - pie & chips. DSis did the wudupa 👏

DSis had a rummage at the weekend so that along with the bits we found whilst putting the suitcases away has made a bag which has now left the building.Unfortunately our T!vo box decided to give up the ghost at the weekend so the engineer is coming today to (hopefully) fix it. This necessitated a run around and stuff that needs sorting has once again been bunged. The cupboard under the stairs will need to be excavated at the weekend and at least 1 bedroom. Does it ever end?!?!?!On the plus side I did dig out my passport (needed tomorrow as ID) and a birthday card, gift bag and some ribbon for a pressie DSis has for a colleague before bunging stuff in the cupboard.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hi all, not posted for a couple of days but a few things done. Saturday I put a load through the machine, had a session of self care, 1 tube of lotion uu, had a clear out of the fridge and chucked out the ood sauces that have been lurking in the door shelf that OH seems to collect from various places but then never uses
. Lr bin emptied. I went to the footy which was good fun as it was a charity legends game so no stress and just an opportunity to watch some really good football
. I met 2 families who had travelled from Kent for the game, 1 from Maidstone and 1 from Gillingham so had a bit of a gab as I grew up in Gravesend and there were lots of children enjoying the day which was lovely to see
Sunday we were out for lunch with OH's family which confused me as I thought it was Monday so as it involves a bit of a drive and we have to work around the baby's schedulewe were out quite early and for most of the day. Lovely Italian meal and we all left the table full and the baby liked all the food he tried, we all gave him a bit of our dinner
Some of the batch cooking from the freezer was taken over as well as the niece is now back at work, 3 days a week but full time next week so her freezer is now stocked with some meals for when they are both tired when they get home
When we got home the kitchen bin and lr bin, again, were emptied and I had to take myself off to bed for several hours as I had a migraine which thankfully don't happen that often but I have learned the only thing that helps is to lay down in a dark room and can take a while to get over. Yesterday I was still recovering but the bathroom bin was emptied, 1 LDFPA ,4 loads were put through the machine. I have finally finished a book that has been put to one side to be passed on to a friend. I have quite a pile of books to be read but I have only been reading on my k1ndle for ages so I have decided I must work my way through the actual books to move them on
. I have finished my knitting and just have to weave in the ends then it can be wrapped ready to be posted, I will do that today
. I will post a picture when I have taken it
@Mrs SD love the fingerless mittens. I struggled with knitting in the round for a while but I was determined to crack it and so I have persevered with both circular needles and double pointed needles and I have to say I really like using the circular needles even if I am just knitting back and forth now as the metal bits are shorter than normal needles and they seem easier to work with for me. In fact I struggle a bit with normal needles now as there seems to be too much needle getting in the way
. My DMum was a great knitter and I have aspirations to be half as good as her so I keep trying different things just to see if I can do it
@Florafauna lovely dress, the fabric is very pretty and such good sewing
@GrannyKate I don't think I'll get to the quarter mark, 506, by the end of March either but we are all making some progress which is the important thing
I have caught up but not much has stayed in my brain so hugs to anybody who would like one
440 self care

443 - 449 ood sauces
450 kitchen bin

We went to The Plume of Feathers just before the new year.
I used to always go to The Gipsy Moth or the Cutty Sark when I lived in south London.
I'm feeling depressed as my cat is ill. She had a seizure two nights ago and we took her in for tests and they think it is her heart. My other cat had the same thing and she had to be on medication for the last two years of her life. She did live until almost 20 in the end, though.
We had to declutter almost £500 to the vet yesterday and then her heart scan will be around £600 on Thursday. Hopefully we can claw some back from the pet insurance. She is with Pet Plan, luckily as they are one of the best IMO.
I do still have the bag for the charity shop. My husband might take it today or tomorrow. I did put a cream jumper in there that doesn't fit me anymore.2025 GOALS

Good morning chums.
Oh dear Mrs SD,that's a shock at the dentist. All of a sudden a couple of years ago after doing the exact dental care I have always done, I developed bone loss.Teeth fine. I don't know if it's age, but I suspect it is connected to Covid. I went to a "gum specialist" and he had no explanation other than saying it seems an auto immune response.I lost a lot of hair too when I had Covid the first and worst time, that is coming back a little after 2 years. Strange.
I am plodding on, still finding things to go as I come across them. I think I am just attuned to de cluttering now. The house is such a pleasure, so easy clean as I go. We, well I am still tidying every night before bed. I was thinking that it is weird that I record all ins and outs and really should stop! I will at the end of the year when I have the yearly numbers. This is the first year I have recorded what I bring in, still haven't forgiven Mr V for bringing 30 pieces of cutlery! We already had a 12 person set! It has helped that I am apart from underwear only buying new to me this year. We will gloss over the trousers from Tescs last week.
The bird table is fixed and has had a couple of coats of garden paint from stash, yes, using stuff up. The other bird table is coming in today to dry out and have a couple of coats of paint too. After my cleaner has been on Wednesday I will bring the wooden bench in and paint that. All the start of my garden tidy. Next week I will try to do the cast iron table and chairs, by which time the weather might be a bit better so I can get out and paint the sheds, loo door and the fence.
At last I have regained the right attitude to weight loss. 3lb gone
Does anyone save stamps for a charity? I have about 3 years worth and don't know who to send them to.
BTW, that is a very nice studio, gym space and lovely dress Flora, lovely fabric.
New numbers out ,to include ancient medicine, tatty jeans,an embroidery book and a magazine passed on at craft club.
In, a rather gorgeous, sequined, Liberace type shawl.

I put my arm through the door of the loft of doom and pulled out the nearest 2 boxes. 1 was full of books most of which my colleague will take as she is starting the same course that I used them for. I have another bag of books by the front door for the CS. There was also a whole bag of course notes into recycling.I also found some photos but decided to just put them back or I would be there for hours reminiscing!
Then I found a Nintendo DS I wonder if I can get it to work, if so it might interest LO.
also an unopened disposable camera 😂 must be very old. And a digital camera and a webcam. Good that I categorisedthem all in the same place when I stored them in the box and forgot about them for 10 years 😂😂
Anyway, I will have to climb in next time to reach more stuff, but a lot of it looks like belongs to DH.
At least I made a start. I have been putting it off for a long time. To be fair it only took 30 minutes to do those 2 boxes….
i have sold 2 pairs of shoes that I bought last year and have never worn.Must go clean the fridge before the grocery delivery arrives. Looking forward to SYLO @ Mrs SD last week I did not even notice the missing kitchen and bathroom!14
