I have lost a post with lots of name checks. I haven't the heart to do it all again, sorry.
What a lovely day after the rain, sleet.hail , snow and sun of yesterday.
I am ticking things off my to do list, and adding more! Just cleaned the microwave.Mr V is outside, dismantling the feet off the bird table and trying to make new feet with the not quite suitable wood we have. What we don't have is a small piece of wood to make the table at the top. It used to have a table and little house which got broken when the wind blew it over. We will just stick with a plain bird table, the birds didn't like going under the covered bit anyway. I might ask on our thrift site if anyone has an off cut.
Right ,i'm off the washing machine has finished and I can get stuff out on the line for a couple of hours.

Oceanspirit glad to hear you're both getting over the prang
OH says thank you for his medal Mrs SD - well deserved IMHO as it was a mega task and he stuck at it until it was done even though it was my frog and my responsibility.
Been plodding along with admin tasks plus tidying up the kitchen and living room a little more. Continuing to use up tins and packets in our meals - there are a couple of things I haven’t started using yet as it takes a bit more effort to work out what to put them in as I bought them for more time consuming recipes which I don’t currently have time or energy for. Also researching new cars online as at some point I will need to go and test drive some - I loved my previous car but they are no longer made and I think it best to take the opportunity to get something younger although it seems difficult to find something with few gadgets and gizmos. All I need it to do is to get from a to b safely without the car being bossy or throwing a strop because a bit of grit has found its way into a sensor as OH’s does from time to time.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅20 -

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
The jackets/coats have both been waterproofed & are now hanging on the whirligig 🤞 DSis has been informed that the wm is free 😉 DSis’s load is in the wm & the sun has reappeared to help dry the jackets/coats 🤞Currently waiting for a call from DH letting me know he is on his way home 🙏 DH forgot to phone - he appeared on the doorstep about 16:15 😊
Lovely to see you weenancy 👋 Sorry to hear that you are in the wars again 😔 Hopefully plenty of rest & gentle movement will help 🤞No more shifting boxes of books & pushing heavy carts 🙏 🙏 Sorry to hear about roommates’ aunt 😔 & fingers crossed that some of the walkers prove useful for “limpy group” 🤞I am also sending lots of positive wishes that you can get your eyesight sorted 🙏 The meeting of Friends of Libraries sounds very informative 😊 Well done on the kitchen decluttering & cleaning 👏 but please be careful with the book decluttering 🙏 Definitely weird weather all round 😔 Gentle cwtches coming your way 🤗
London_1, what a great way to impress your EPC chap 👏 & a lovely bonus for your buyers 😊 Excellent decluttering 👏 & how great that your local library now does PAT electrical testing - more items saved from landfill 🥳 Fingers crossed that the surveys go well & that you will all be on the IoW by early summer 🤞
Excellent decluttering Soontobeoap 👏 One medal🏅coming your way for donating so much to club for craft group 😊 Good luck with the sanding & varnishing 🍀 Hope you have a lovely weekend with your family 😊
Brilliant decluttering charlies_tribe 👏 & all that ‘fun’ clearing out spiders 😉 Very impressive work so I am awarding medals - one for you 🏅 & one for DH🏅 Hopefully Project Kitchen Clean & Declutter is well on the way to completion 🤞
London_1, hopefully DGD will want all the cleaning stuff 🤞or maybe some can be donated to a charity 🤔 I was thinking of somewhere like Crisis or Shelter who are helping the homeless to find somewhere of their own 🤔
Crazycatlady2, well done on getting over a third of the units built 👏 Good luck with the rest 🍀 I hope DS is still helping 😉
Excellent decluttering Rootle 👏 Fingers crossed that the cleaning of the wardrobe is successful & that you can obtain a reasonably priced dehumidifier 🤞
bamboo_socks, good luck with Project Clothing 🍀 Fingers crossed that all your listings are successful 🤞
Excellent decluttering wishus 👏 & sad though it is, I am very impressed that you have been so brave & decluttered the cider press & attendant items 😊 I did have a wry grin at your comment “The improvements to the crumbling hovel have already started and things need to go... “ 😁 A very colourful turn of phrase 😅
Shame about the lost post vulpix 😞 Great work on your ‘To Do’ list 👏 Perhaps start a new one for other tasks that occur to you 😉 Fingers crossed that the washing will dry outside 🤞
You are most welcome oceanspirit 😊 Great work dealing with admin tasks & tidying both the kitchen & living room 👏 Keeping my fingers crossed that you can find a car with a minimum of ‘gadgets & gizmos’ 🤞To my mind the more electronics there are, the more chance there is of a ‘temperamental’ breakdown 😔 Almost designed to take even more money out of your pocket or maybe that is too cynical 🤨 Although the same thing does occur with motorbikes 😔
All caught up 🥳 I will do a bit of knitting & then start prepping dinner.
Hope everyone is having a great Sunday 😊

Mrs SD - love the fingerless mitts.
Took the Easter cup along to my friend this morning.
We got 2 more Moses baskets donated yesterday - we already had one - hard to move them on. I hate landfill but sometimes needs must as I don't have the space at SA to store lots of bulky items.
Someone brought bags of bric a brac along after the service - I need to go through it tomorrow and make space for any bits that I want to keep for the next sale. We came home from SA with two large bags of knitted/crochet items that Mr F will take to the charity shop tomorrow.
Been very tired today.
Meant to be counting money tomorrow but C is double booked so it will happen on Tuesday.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Thank you @Mrs_Salad_Dodger - I've been putting it off because it feels like such a big job.
I've also sold some towels (were used for a beauty business, so in good condition) to a friend who's starting a doggy day care.12 -
Here's the dress, I used double gauze fabric, v pleased with it. Hair stays dry when I swim as I wear a hat and goggles. Have to wear mask goggles and look like a mad scientist in them which amuses me greatly

Thank you for my medal @Mrs Salad-dodger. I am taking great strides here. Today the Grandchildrens toy box got a good clean out. A bin bag of broken toys, boxes and bathroom bits and pieces all set for dump trip tomorrow which is booked for 10.30. I have cleaned all of the toys, washed toy bags and dolls clothes and scrubbed out the box. Even the toy telephone has new batteries. Oh yes and a cheap cushion that has seen better days has been washed. Once dry the stuffing will be taken to the childrens easter craft session for stuffing Easter bunny heads.
DH is scared to sit still for too long in case I give him a good wash and declutter him. 🤣
