Hi all, reasonable day today, another pen uu, I downloaded what I needed to onto my phone. I know lots of people do this all the time but I never find it easy even though it was iyswim
. 3 body lotions passed on to ln during coffee over the fence
and then I went off to do the mosaic. It took us 3 hours so I wasn't home until half past 8. I had some veg stew from the freezer and a cuppa and fell onto the couch
. My left arm is a bit sore from carrying chunks of card
but it will be fine. I fell asleep. Quickly posting now before I climb the stairs
@Vulpix everything crossed for Mr V in June, hugs
@Floss yes it is the one Sven will be managing ably assisted by John Barnes. It should raise a lot of money as I hear it is nearly sold out
. I have my ticket
@Mrs SD love the hat
I have caught up but nothing else has stayed in my brain so hugs to anybody who would like one

Thank you Mrs SD, I have also got myself a couple of tops for my August holiday from v!nted as (drumroll please....) I am losing some weight (finally!) Congratulations on your win and I love the hat and scarf set you made!
Thank you Liverpool_Anne. It is tough going to make the overpayment but we have seen the benefit twice already! Once was the huge reduction in interest when we re-fixed for 5 years and the 2nd was day before yesterday: our bank are now doing yearly reviews (as opposed to end of term) and our monthly payments have reduced by over £200 a month as we still have 16 years to pay off just over £90k! Needless to say we will pay the same monthly amount and continue to overpay as much as we can (there is a 10% limit annually). Every overpayment feels like a little victory and that we are sticking it to 'the man' 😂
Decluttered a rusty wheelbarrow this week - been here 9 years after a workman left it and was coming back for it..... it only just fit in my car 😂2024 decluttering Campaign

Hi all, just on my second cuppa, think I was a bit dehydrated and my back, hips and knees are a bit creaky after yesterday and my feet need a papmper so that is the first thing I will be doing when I get going
. I am going to the footy later but I have spotted a few little things I can do before I go so I have done a list
, lets see how far we get
. It is very wet and windy here so the planned washing will be on the maiden
@Mrs SD forgot to say last night I think fingerless gloves or mits are essential to go with the scarf and hat. I make very simple ones in the round with just a hole for the thumb and no sewing which is my particular bug bear when knitting anything
Take care everyone

Morning all. A bit behind this week as have had visitors and lots of things on. Sunny but cold so think I will risk putting washing out - when I have got dressed! DS2 has taken DGD4 out for the day - he has to finish birthday cake for DGS4 for tomorrow so random cooking stuff all out in kitchen. Birthday boy has gone on an overnight trip with his mother - back tomorrow. Went house hunting with DD - she agrees on the area I have chosen and has told me not to look at other areas or I will find houses I like in the wrong place. No rush as no viewers for mine yet. Nice man came to do EPC check and I scored a C which is fine for a bungalow from 70s. He was impressed with late DH's collection of paper records for extension, insulation etc. DS2 managed to paint repaired wall in between rain showers this week. Paint matched in well.
356-357 Two bags to CS
358 Plastics to SM Recycling
359-360 DGD4 released two pairs of shoes to CS bag
361-380 Stamp albums and associated stuff left house with DD - she will take to auction house near her. Hard to let it go but it is time. DGDs took some Harry Potter and Dinosaur sets out to keep
381 Outside wall painted
382-385 Four boxes of long out of date store cupboard stuff emptied in bin.
Checked on line but another 2 weeks before I can book the rest of the train tickets for September trip to France. I must write and post a couple of Easter cards - think this year's Easter egg hunt will be low key and may well be the last one as DGCs will all be 10+ by next Easter. Right off to get dressed and moving.2025 Decluttering Campaign 648/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Been missing with fatigue and trying to sort out car following February’s prang. Hopefully we are all sorted now and the money is on its way. Getting something new will possibly have to wait for a few weeks as we have other things to deal with and my energy use needs careful planning. OH still recovering from injuries (nearly there and he sees physio again this week) and I have recovered from mine.
The big frog of mine that OH took on is nearly done from our point of view and will be out of our hands on Monday.
Other smaller frogs have been nudged along by us both so the last week hasn’t been a total disaster. Will continue working our way through these as best we can.

Definitely more coming in than out or at least replacing rather than extra 😂
Hoping I find more to bin next week but think I'll just be shuffling around tbh
DS has started building units supposed to do at least 4 today and he just started second...he started with smallest ones 🤣16 -
Hello all. I have now decluttered the district nurses and am on the road to recovery but got told off for running before I can walk, so I'm back in the TLC carriage. DH has done the washing today but there's zero chance of it drying outside as we have wintery showers. I have decluttered the box and packaging from the flowers sent by DD and the old flowers sent by a neighbour have been put in the green waste bin.
Today I have thrown out my favourite knitted house cardigan which I've had for a very looong time but sadly it has yet another hole. It's would have been more darning than knitting, so it's gone. Also gone more Sunday socks, I don't know how DH gets them in such a state. Tea tonight will be leftovers from yesterday's lunch of fish and chips from the chippy, the fish was so huge I've got some left for today.
Happy decluttering everyone.

The weather is weird here. I just went to the shop and it started to rain and now I'm inside it has changed to bright sunshine.
I haven't done much decluttering lately. I have the bra in a bag ready to take with two pairs of sunglasses a jacket and a skipping rope. I only bought that skipping rope recently from a charity shop, but I find it quite difficult to use so we are going to keep the mini trampoline instead of getting rid of it. It is better for your knees too as it is less shock bouncing on a trampoline than the floor.
I actually need to buy some new clothes! The winter before was much colder in my house as we have taken care of the damp issue and the water leak so we haven't needed as many warm clothes that I stocked up on. My wardrobe is full of jumpers, but I need some Spring clothes and I don't have that many tops so I will have to do some charity shop hunting for some new clothes.12 -
Been a ridiculous week at work, working very hard but not enjoyable. Am pending really until I get properly onboarded by the people in charge. It needs to get better as not particularly impressed. Not regretting leaving my old job as that was definitely the right decision.Anyway, not much chance for decluttering, but been using up a few bits and finding things to purge as I tidy.Digital:
