Hi all, just on my way to bed but I thought I would report in now. Quite a good day, 1 note book uu and I am now using an A4 pad that I got from a meeting, found a few and now I am retired I can't think they will be used any other way. 2 LDFPA and 2 loads through the machine, 1 load of jeans nearly dry on the line which made me happy
. I grabbed a bag from the conservatory today as it had toppled over and was a trip hazard. No idea how long it has been there but I found more gifts from school
. A nice scarf and gloves that were put away, 2 mugs which I like so after they have been washed will go in the cupboard and I will get rid of at least 1, some chocolates that had to go in the bin. I am really annoyed with myself for that as I quite like these ones
, another toiletries set so the body lotion has been set aside for ln and the rest put where it will be used. Honestly I thought I was making progress with using up the smellies but I just keep finding more
. Saves buying soap and shower gel I suppose
. The fancy bag was ripped so that was binned. The kitchen bin was emptied and then I deleted 100 emails. After tea a bit more knitting. OH wanted to check an email and I helped sort it out as the log in page has changed and as OH usually just checks on the phone it got a bit complicated and I had to change the password but it wasn't OH's fault as I had had problems earlier logging in. If it continues tomorrow I might contact them.
I watched a very good film just before coming to bed called Just Mercy about a lawyer in Alabama fighting for people on death row, a true story. Apparently for every 9 people on death row in the USA 1 has been proven to be innocent which is a truly terrible statistic and makes me very glad we don't have the death penalty here. It was on BBC2 if anyone wants to catch it on the iPlayer.
@zoomtothemoon I am doing the same with my lotions and potions, it is quite satisfying to get to the end of a tube. Small wins help to keep you going
@Floss, your at sea?!? Hang on to something in all that wind
Right off to bed, hugs to anybody who would like one. No idea what I will do tomorrow but something will be done

I am getting very bad at ‘coming back shortly’ 🙊 However I wasn’t entirely inactive 😉 I tackled my various boxes of sewing paraphernalia - small bag of unusable bits binned + a tape measure & 7 reels of cotton (all the same colour) added to CS bag (will count when bag dropped off). I also completed the ‘scarf’ see picture & have started knitting the matching hat.
Dinner was cold pork, mash & baked beans. Wudupa

Morning, had a few days in the tlc carriage and have found my 'get up and go' again. Ds had a lovely birthday with just a few ins: his first bike, some kids stationary, a bag so he can carry his cars in (his most treasured possessions!) And a toy bendy bus. He was so happy!
First up confessions:
I have had quite a few ins (hangs head.....) 2 dresses reduced for me and some spring and summery clothes for the dc who have once again synchronised their growth spurts 😯. Both dds are now too tall for their scooters and are having a hard time using them so they will have to be replaced at some point.
Now for the outs:
2x tip runs with car full of stuff from garden and shed - an ongoing project with plenty more to go.
3x cs runs. I haven't added the numbers but they were 8 large bags for life with elephant on from sainsbobs with outgrown kids clothes, toys and general stuff from around the house. 2nd dd helped on Saturday (she also dislikes the clutter and we are the only tidy ones.....) and she was ruthless! 2 bags were from her alone!
Dh and I looked at our finances and have come to a decision to stay in this house for another 6 years. Our fixed term is up next year (I fixed 4 years ago with a 1.54% interest rate!) So we are continuing our overpayment and are saving alongside to hopefully knock a lump off before re-fixing. In 9 years we have paid off nearly 50% of our mortgage so we are aiming to do better and have the whole thing paid in 6 years. So lots of overtime for dh, selling what we don't want and working on bill reduction as much as possible is on the cards.

Quick post - morning all. Did a house viewing yesterday with DS2 and will do same tomorrow with DD. I like it but needs money spent on it - no interest in my property yet. Went to look at rental with DS2 yesterday and it was in a truly awful state - agent was very nice but said owner just wants to let it cheap and not spend anything but it was really unliveable in- frayed and torn carpets, smashed up integrated fridge and freezer. You expect to do cosmetics and minor remedial work but I can't see how he could let this out. Rottweiler had lived there and it smelt awful and lots of damage done. DS2 is hoping to paint my re-rendered wall if it doesn't rain all day.
I had hoped to cancel £10 a month photo software but there are still thousands of late DH's family pictures on there and due to some sort of file corruption I cannot download them - I have only been able to screenshot the ones I like to keep a copy but it is an incredibly slow process. Late DB (computer and photo expert) couldn't work out any way of downloading them either.
I have made a decision to sell stamp collections - mine and late DH - I got a lot of pleasure out of them for many years but not touched them for 25 years and grandchildren not interested. I doubt they are immensely valuable but I hate the thought of them just deteriorating or ending up in a skip. Specialist auction house near where DD lives are going to look at them so I am packing them up for her to take with her Friday. 15 albums and 3 boxes so I will count when they leave. If they are not worth selling I will find a charity that takes them. Time to let them go. DS2 sold several things on Vinted yesterday using it for the first time. Gradually emptying loft. Went out and did some car research with DS2 - part of moving plan is new small car for me - he enjoyed it anyway - I hate buying cars but it did show me some which I don't like (they seem good on paper)
343-350 Items sold by DS2 on Vinted and posted in box
351 DS2's old van collected and taken away by work at last
352 Three folders of late DH's pictures deleted after a few saved from each as screenshots
353-354 Two house viewings done
355 MOT done - small amount of work needed so decluttered £165 but passed now
Going on a woodland walk this afternoon - hope it stops raining. DD here for dinner, spending day with me tomorrow, then back to work and home Friday. Then she's back here with family for 2 days at Easter.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Wednesday & the sun is out 🥳 When I got up at just gone 11:00, DH & DSis were long gone 😉 DSis has morning & afternoon appointments at the same hospital - same building but different floors, so they have decided to have lunch out. DH just phoned (12:00) - DSis’s 1st appointment is running half an hour late although DH is happy as he has not only found a motorcycle parking bay but has also had a full English breakfast 🙂

Excellent decluttering ilovetea 👏
bamboo_socks, rather than being ‘tired of your efforts’ perhaps your family should pitch in & help with the decluttering 🤨
Excellent work QueenJess both on the decluttering & tidying 👏
Brambling, you had a very busy weekend 🤩 so no wonder you were tired on Monday 😉 I did smile at the vision of you being ‘pinned down’ by your ‘furry hot water bottle’ aka cat 😁
Excellent decluttering to the Book Sale weenancy 👏 Pleased to hear that so much money was raised 😊 Your nephew is a very lucky young man 🍀 What a lovely Sunday - raising money for the Library, interesting chats from authors & a free to you lunch for you & Di 🥳 Excellent decluttering of paperwork - a 6” pile is worthy of a medal 🏅 which is battling its way to you 😉 The weather has been very strange here too - although the plants/flowers seem to be insisting it is Spring, it doesn’t really feel much like Spring 😔 I am not sure anyone trusts weathermen in the U.K. - at least not since 1987 😱 when Michael Fish got his forecast so spectacularly & tragically wrong 😑
London_1, just wondering if nosy Nora ever goes on holiday 😉 She will miss you when you are are in your new home as I would bet that the new people in your house won’t be waving to her 😅 Some excellent decluttering & what a lovely 2nd life for your tea towels 😊 Are you sure that one Tip run will be enough bearing in mind the amount you are decluttering 😉
Pennypincin, not sure what to think about the people who give you socks & mugs 🤨 although hopefully your friend will enjoy the socks 🤞
Excellent decluttering number_23 👏 sounds like you are enjoying the process 😊 That is a lot of photos & videos on your phone 😬 - good luck 🍀
DH & DSis have popped back for half an hour - rather than spending a fortune on drinks & lunch for DSis 😉
D123456789, you might feel like you are going round in circles but praise is due as you are still finding things to declutter 👏 To me it sounds like you have completed Project 333 😉 or should that be Project 222 or maybe even Project 111 😂 Hope you enjoyed SYLO as much as DSis & I did 🤞 Very talented family 🤩 Although we did notice that they didn’t appear to have a bathroom or kitchen 🤣
Another page caught up so will post & do a bit of knitting 🙂 We have been invited to niece S for an overnight stay at Easter so it would be nice to hand over both the scarf & hat 🤞 Unfortunately the sun has vanished- swallowed up by the clouds 😞

It is a gorgeous sunny day here today. I walked up to the charity shop as they usually have a tray of cutlery in there and I have managed to declutter my potato peeler. I think I must have accidentally put it in the bin when I was putting the vegetable peelings in there. They had every kitchen gadget under the sun apart from a peeler so I might just have to order one from Amazon.
I did put on a new bra yesterday that i bought last month and it was digging into me so I am donating that as I don't want anything to flare up costochondritis again now I finally got rid of it! I am going to look for more things to hopefully make up a whole bag to take tomorrow before we go into London.
I'm half way through watching the new SYLO episode. My washing is actually on the line as the weather is so nice.2025 GOALS

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger 😂 I think it's more of a "what's she up to now?" rather than being unkind. Which reminds me, I have ten minutes to shift some stuff and put a Welsh dresser together...18

Work has been busy this week, it's a bit of a shock to the system as its been pretty quiet for a couple of months.
I continue to feel in good spirits. Been keeping up with my 10k steps a day - 7 day streak.
I've already heard from the hospital about an appointment re: my PCO. I imagine its the consultation rather than the actual treatment but I'm pleasantly surprised that it's only a month away.
