I have been sorting through a crafter's stuff that was donated to SA. I don't want to keep it all so a lot is going to the charity shop. I have a packed shopping trolley and bag ready for Mr F to take down the town.
Sunny day here so Mr F will be off soon with the full trolley of goodies - apart from the small section in £land - there is nowhere selling craft bits in my town centre.
My Dd called here yesterday afternoon with £25 from bits sold at her school - all goes to my SA Corps. All the aprons and mugs of chocs sold. I have just 2 cloth shopping bags left and some pens. Must get on with some crafting for the next lot for her to take to school.
I finished some more Easter cards.
Mr F flooded the town yesterday with posters to advertise the next table top sale at SA. I have 10 tables booked and our Ukrainian friends are selling Easter bakes.
I had an easier day yesterday which was lovely.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Good morning campers.
The teapot, coffee pot pics were to help ease TC's guilt. If you like something, keep it and display it.
I will be doing nothing with my brother's stuff at Mum's house. One is a large wooden chest full of rock samples. I couldn't move it unless I emptied it . It is in his old bedroom where it has been since he left home.
I enjoyed the laundry video, I am all for giving kids responsibility from a young age. She looks good for being the Mother of 13.
We are going out later to a candlelit Vivaldi concert. Think it's Vivaldi, not sure but it will be nice whatever.
I have decided 2 cushions off the spare bed can go. They are nice but a bit twee. I am still half thinking about putting the house up for sale and if so what the Estate Agent's photos would look like. I want the place to look lived in, not too cluttered or too sparse.

So much decluttering going on. Well done everyone.
Its slow going here as I am emptying all upstairs cupboards, clearing out the mould and washing everything before I put it back. One half of big double wardrobe completed. Oher half holds all of the bedding and towels. Another 2 bin bags worth removed. (2 more airbeds and some crafting bits).
Dhs single wardrobe has been thoroughly cleaned out. Everything washed and dried and the things I am not sure about are awaiting his perusal to decide what stays and what goes.
Have started on the cupboard that holds the photos as well as more of DHs clothes..most photos are in plastic storage boxes but some photo frames, Grandkids artwork, boxed games and greetings cards are not, so it will all need going through and cleaning down. Its all a bit overwhelming really but it is slightly encouraging when I discover more room in the cupboards.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £17.98 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Mr F took the trolley of stuff to the charity shop.
He is helping me with my decluttering total by sorting out and getting rid of stuff in his office - I did throw out a lot from there but still loads to go.
After a cup of tea - Mr F toddled off with a bag of bits for the charity shop.
I finished another 5 Easter cards and had a small tidy up in my craft room. While I was tidying - I found 45 items that can go out of the house.
Done some more listing on selling sites for fund raising - I will give them some time and if they don't sell - it will be off to the charity shop.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@daisy_1571 that room looks lovely. I love the rug and those units next to the tv. I have a bit of a thing for little draws
Quite agree Liverpool_Anne - your room is lovely daisy and i also love mini drawers/merchants chests etc. I saw a set of mini drawers in a CS today but resisted - also saw a lovely 70s coffee table. The 70s seems to be en vogue atm? I popped into town and bought a book in a CS - hoping to suggest it as my choice for the next book group - & 2 mugs in Sainz that match 4 bought for me by DD1. Haven't got rid of anything yet. Might pop into the TLC carriage for some of @QueenJess HM soup - have been struggling with shoulder pain.
Love to all

@Liverpool_Anne - My thinking was to have big bottles of shower gel etc and decant them into smaller bottles for use in the house. I'm fortunate that I have the storage for this... And I'm not sure how long a 5l bottle of anything would last with a four year old using it 😅
Readers, OH has decluttered some drawers and shelves. This doesn't come naturally to him, and he needed some moral support which I happily gave. This bodes well for the the summer, when we can get stuff out of sheds onto the lawn!17 -
Back home from our beloved IoW and hoping next time I go it will be for moving. Took an age to get back as Jct10 & 11 on M25 were a nightmare, and we got caught up in the 'Carmagedon' of the chaos trying to get from A3 to M25 finally got home by just before 5.00pm took four hours when it normally takes a tad over two
but all unpacked and washing machine wiring away, feet up and a cup of coffee now.
Not going to do anything else today but will start tomorrow with even more decluttering now we have found the place and our offer has been accepted.
An eventful week, and DD saw a job advertised on the Island, and I said email them and see, and they emailed back then phoned her, and hopefully once she see's the rota for the next few weeks at her place on Monday she will be off down for an interview
She told them about buying and moving and the company said they would be more than happy to wait until she moved, they seemed really interested, and she only popped them an email on the off chance (almost didn't bother) so fingers crossed.its a really good opportunity for her, and the next step up the ladder She has been an EA and property manager for 15 years, and they are really looking for someone with experience which she has by the bucket .
So hopefully she will get the package which will suit, the hours are better than the ones she does now as well.
After all the health problems of last year hopefully my luck is changing for the better. I am really happy with the house and its only 10 minutes walk from a 'dog friendly beach ' which is useful as she has three dogs
We have everything crossed at the moment

Good morning my fellow declutterati (08:50) 👋 I am up but not dressed. Quite dull outside although having checked the forecast it is not ‘supposed’ to rain 🤞I have my first cuppa but am note quite awake enough to start the cheerleading 😉 So will do a bit of knitting & a couple of Sudoku puzzles. Oops ended up doing a lot of knitting whilst clearing down a few programmes from the TV planner + watching a film called Local Hero. Failed to do anything else all day apart from knit & watch TV 😔 For dinner I made sausage linguine. Wudupa. P.S. it did rain 😉
