If anyone is struggling with laundry - particularly those with more people in the house - have a look at this lady. Its only 12 minutes long. I had assumed there's really only one way to do a family laundry but this is such a simple idea. I know some people just can't get past having to iron everything so the no fold part might not suit everyone but the actual laundry part might still be useful.

Wednesday stayed dry 🙂 DH’s sister had made a request to see our car, so DH & my DSis drove to Kent & visited the family. Left 13:00 back 19:30 after popping into MrS for some shopping. DH was very happy as great great nephew R had drawn him a picture 😊 It was supposed to be a tree but because his nan thought it looked a bit like a giraffe R decided that it WAS a giraffe. DH ordered a Chinese for dinner. I have started a new frog - a while ago I promised to knit a neck warmer/scarf + hat for DH’s niece S 😉 It is a 12 row pattern so I do need to concentrate & have to refer to the pattern constantly which makes it rather slow going 😔 Anyway I have finally started, so please wish me luck 🍀 Also managed one load LDFPA.
Thursday has got off to a brighter start but is a bit breezy. Very surprised that the recycling wheelie bin has been emptied - two weeks on the trot now 🥳 As I have fallen behind again I will have a session of cheerleading before doing some knitting 😉
QueenJess, very pleased to hear that you have settled into your new job so quickly 👏 even though that means you are crazy busy 😊 Fingers crossed that you find a solution to the under-stairs cupboard 🤞Excellent decluttering 👏 & hopefully the cs donations will soon be out of the way 🙏
Deni_debt-free_dreamer, you are very welcome 🙂
Brie, hope you have a lovely holiday ☺️
Enjoy your holiday Floss ☺️
TC77, please cut yourself some slack 🙏🙏 Being so busy at work is really not conducive to having the energy to declutter 😔 I take it that your employers still haven’t filled the vacancies so no wonder you are so busy at work 😠 Once you are on holiday from work, please remember to intersperse your decluttering sessions with time in the TLC Carriage & activities with friends & family 🙏😊 Every single item out is a win & I have noticed that you are being very successful in no longer wombling 🥳👏
SuperLooperSaver, perhaps you can get DS to not only help with the candle making but also make a game of decluttering/tidying 😉 Hope you have a lovely weekend 😊
Florafauna, fingers crossed that the house purchase continues to proceed smoothly 🤞 Good luck for tonight’s school disco & I hope you enjoy it as much as the youngsters 😉
My concentration is flagging so I will post this & come back in a while 😉

@EnergyShifter no recommendations for cheaper that food I'm afraid but maybe ask your vet why the food is special so maybe you can subsitute, so if it's got less of this or that, will fresh be as good etc...Jackie, congratulations on finding the right place in super quick time!Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi17

Hi all, yesterday felt busy but not massive amounts decluttered
.
Another pen binned while writing sm list, I seem to be getting through them at a rate of knots atm which is good as I still have loads. On the way to the sm I posted the parcel to Germany for Easter. OH has been meaning to do it all week but despite it being moved from the lr to the front door it was still there
. I collected my meds on the way home. While in the sm I spotted some ys chopped veg, casserole packs at half price but still a day in date so I got 4. When I got home I put all the shopping away and started cooking. I did a massive batch of veg stew with the ys veg, added a tin of mixed beans that had been lurking in the cupboard for a while and a couple of handfuls of lentils and some veg from the freezer. Some of the veg in the packs did need further chopping but the bulk of the work had been done for me or previously done when I put the veg in the freezer
. That bubbled away till tea time, we had pizza as OH won't eat veg stew, and I portioned it out after tea before putting it in the freezer. 1 portion in the fridge for me for tea today as I have a footy match. I got 14 portions out of it for a cost of £3 which pleased me no end
. I also wu everything I had used
. 1 portion of lasagne OH had made was earmarked for ln so that was passed over and 1 LDFPA. After that I did some knitting. The cowl and 1 fingerless mit is done, just the other mit to do now, might get started on that sometime today depending on what else presents itself
. My purse is starting to show signs of stress, it is over 10 years old so not surprising, I have a few purses lurking around that I have been gifted so will have a hunt to see if I think any are right, a few might hit the cs bag. I think finding the right purse is one of the hardest things, everyone has their own idea of what a perfect purse is. I never gift a purse as I think you have to know somebody really well to get it right
@TC77 re coffee pots if you really can't let any go maybe you could make a sort of display with them but to do that you will need to let other things go instead, would that be easier? Personally I don't think we have to have only 1 of things if we really love them, even Marie Kondo is not now minamalist
@Mrs SD good luck with the scarf, 12 row pattern would have me sitting with a pen and note book to jot down what row I was on everytime I moved away from it. My Mum used to knit some very complicated Aran but she always seemed to know where she was up to with it
Right off for another cuppa while I hunt out those purses. Hugs to everyone who would like one
388 parcel posted
389 meds collected
390 surprise batch cooking
391 lasagne delivered
392 LDFPA
393 pen uu
Take care everyone

Hi, continuing the coffee pots saga, the metal filter bits are near their last legs so can't give to the charity shop, so it's often things that have some use bit not good enough to pass on! Does that make sense?16

Today I decluttered some tiles and cupboards and the green bin has gone out full again 🤣
Thanks to my earlier sorting of tools etc I found everything I needed easily but my back and arm hurt now16 -
Hi all, just checking in with some small decluttering - I have taken my soft plastics to recycle in the c00p and shredded a notebook of confidential notes and put the shreddies in boxes for the recycling bin

Thank you for my medal Mrs SD.OH has been out in the garden all day. There is more to do but forecast is for rain tomorrow so I am hoping to send him into town with a list whilst I get on with things at home.
Deleted a load of photos off my phone yesterday, did some chasing up of insurance claim and some laundry.
More admin done today and using up of food stocks. Cancelled the veg delivery this week so we can use up what is in fridge and freezer.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅14
