Balancing my laptop on pile of stuff on my dining table - next thing to do and will post pic to motivate/shame me. Looks as if I'm in a tiny bedsit or flat....
Opened understairs cupboard and found paint pot must have been unsecured and lumps of dry gloss! so have throw out the empty tin, bent and rusty hooks, disintegrating DIY stuff, and empty containers - can't believe I kept them so must be the gremlins have used it up, 9 items and have now posted 3 items on free site, and asked my DB if he can identify some other items.
Also shirt, cable and bracelet in CS bag, so 12 making 49915 -
I had my PIP assessment today by phone - for an hour and a half 😳😳😳 I am sooooooo glad I researched what is asked in an assessment. It also helped having hubby there and afterwards I was utterly drained! I also need to make a dr appointment as there was something she was concerned about ( won’t be going into details on here) so have to join the queue of people first thing ringing the dr.
I have no clue what the outcome will be as I couldn’t “get a feel” for it but hopefully should know by 8 weeks.
at least that’s out the way!

TC77 said:Evening, Moorfields I can't imagine ever actually move. I'm in paralysis re decluttering now and working v.long hours in advance of having time.off. dd1 popped round after dentist and said the place was overwhelming or similar words. I just look at say my several coffee pots and like them equally so can't get rid of anything!
Anyone had professional help? I just couldn't pay for someone to stand there while I go I don't know, I need to keep it!!
If there is genuinely not a jot of difference between them but you do have to make space then maybe the question 'will this make a difference in my life if I don't have it'? Maybe this will help you move on an excess? After all, even if they all fell to the floor and only one was unbroken you would still be able to have your coffee?
I'm sure you've already thought all this but maybe it helps spark another thought

Saying I would post really worked, the clearest my tables been for many weeks. Still have the washing out as warmest room as been working there all day with heating on.
A little paper decluttering so 500!17 -
I can't imagine moving from our house. We could get a stair lift if needed. The house is convenient for town and not too far to a bus stop and big plus - very near to SA.
Yds turned up yesterday evening with a Mothering Sunday card and some goodies.
Been to SA for friendship/lunch club today. I did some sorting of donations and my usual bringing in of frail guests. Our retired officer who leads the event is ill so Captain C had to do it meaning my friend and I cooked the meal - fish, chips, peas and baked beans followed by trifle for 50. I managed to burn myself - I have 2 blistered fingers.
Mr F took some stuff to the charity shop.
Lovely to have a dry day.

Good evening.
We didn't manage much yesterday we did buy new pillows for 3 of the childrens bed though so swapped them, but have been busy in DD2s room again today. Its looking better but still a long way to go. This morning we bathed the dog who then spent hours playing with the deflated balloons from DDs room. He was never left unattended and they were way too saggy to pop easily (just in case anyone worries). DD2 is doing really well at clearing through it all and is going through it all herself, I'm just there for company and to tell her which bag/box the things she doesn't want is to go in.

@daisy_1571 thank you, the paint pot spilt tipped me into action! I was taken by surprise .On one level I worry that if i only kept things I really.love I wouldn't have much, also dds could use things as at uni and last year but 26 so think I should wait for then to take things.
But when I have a clear (ish) surface it is calming as I think I have to process everything I see which is exhausting.
Definitely doing more things with friends, and some stuff on my own and appreciate being able to be in the moment.
When I was getting rid of files I decided in like yellow the least so got rid of those.
I did break my pottery coffee pot and think the filter on another will give up soon.
Hoping to get back into decluttiering mode and keep up with the posts.

I've mostly been in the TLC carriage since I last posted. DS took me out for a lovely pub lunch for Mothers' Day. Then on Monday I ventured back to the gym, thinking that whatever I pulled had recovered. I was wrong, even though I took it very easy, I pulled it (my shoulder) again. It's got a little better every day and today I've woken up and it's more of a niggle than a pain - but I will take it easy. That together with the dull weather has made me feel very flat and groggy.
Suggestions please: When I took our cat to the vet on Friday they advised me to feed him prescription cat food as he has early signs of kidney problems. I've been looking online and I'm a bit taken aback at how much it is - it will cost about £150-£200 a month extra. Does anyone know the best places to look for this or some brands that are not quite so expensive. Thanks . He's been our beloved pet for nearly 18 years so I'll need to find the money but that's going to make a huge impact on our budget.

Energyshifter sorry to hear about Beloved Kitty. We used to get our specialist dog food through Medi something but I think they might be called animed now. The special stuff is so dear, twice the price for half the size usually, we used to say ☹
