I think it has been chocolate overdose that's given me wild dreams. I've been stress eating for a few days and hitting the sugar. Have had a word with myself and have decluttered this bad habit, have also given away some biscuits as I cannot eat just one.14

Hi, I have had a few days at my son's house. He is at work so not seen a lot of him but I have had a lovely time with DIL and baby Grandson who is now 6 months. We went to various places including Blenheim Palace which I have never been to before. Mr V came to collect me and we came home via Birmingham where I purchased a couple of bra's and a new washing basket as our old one has a cracked handle. I have also bought a jumper and a tee shirt from the chazzer. Oh Mr V bought me a red phone case because I said I couldn't find the black one in my bag. Didn't need it but he likes to get me stuff!
The saga with Mr V's cancer treatment continues. He came home from work very anxious today. I think being on his own didn't do him any good. I phoned Saint Rachael and she investigated. She posted some blood request forms to us last week. Never came so we are going to the hospital to get them done next week. The scan department made him a scan appointment but didn't tell him!!!!! He should have been there last Tuesday at 10:10 chuffs sake. She has requested yet another scan. When we go to the hospital next week we will take her a thank you card and a gift. It is month 7 since his diagnosis and no further forward.
The photo I did of my kitchen made me realise it looks cluttered. Some things put away in cupboards and some will be going to the cat sanctuary for their car boot sale. Writing everything down that I bring into the house is showing me that I do rather like clothes, even second hand ones. I can't blame weight loss as I have stayed the same since Christmas. When I have some brain space I need to do some work on myself about clothes.
Hope all's well with everyone VxCan you contact PALS at your hospital https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/hospitals/what-is-pals-patient-advice-and-liaison-service/

Think it all depends on where in the country you live. Here in the north west some departments are really quick others take ages. Getting to see a g.p. is hard work.

Hi all, another feeling rough day, a few things done. The bedroom bin was emptied and ln told me my grid was overflowing. We have a cover on it but the leaves get washed down from the roof and block it. It was a particularly dirty and smelly job but it is sorted. I was just glad the sun was out so it was quite warm
. A pillow case I was using as a cushion cover has split so that has gone into the cs rag bag and I did another chunk of ironing. The footy was on the tv and I had to cook the tea timing it to be served at half time
. OH was a bit miffed as I did a jacket potato rather than chips but I pointed out requests have to be made when I start cooking not 5 mins before I am dishing up
@Florenceem I am not a good patient either, I get quite cross with myself for feeling so pathetic
@Vulpix, glad you had a nice visit. The saga of Mr V's cancer treatment is scandalous. I know st Rachael is sorting it out but I would seriously consider putting in a complaint, there are obviously some problems in the system that need addressing pdq, if you have the brain space to do it, hugs
Off to bed now so hugs to anybody who would like one

Queen Jess thank you for the lovely crumble in the tlc carriage - gave me a much needed boost.
vulpix so sorry to read of Mr V’s difficulties getting his treatment. Not helpful.
nanny window thinking of you and wishing you a full and speedy recovery.
Hugs to anyone else who would like them.
So, getting nowhere with getting the car sorted out. It was taken away nearly two weeks ago, the garage phoned the same day to say it wasn’t repairable within the budget set by the insurance company and that I would hear from the insurance company’s engineer. I have chased the claims department but as yet to no avail. I am unable to have a hire car due to disability and I am supposed to be going away to a remote area for Easter and need a car for that trip. I can’t just go out and buy a car off the shelf as it were.
A soft toy is in the washer - it has been in a bag waiting to be done for nearly two years! Living room needs to be tidied for a visitor tomorrow. OH is going away for the weekend this evening so am looking forward to getting on with a few things undisturbed - starting with a kitchen clean and tidy up.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅16 -
Sympathy @vulpix for the fuss at the hospital. Ours hasn't been significantly better nor our surgery. Messed up blood tests, automated messages saying to book appointments that no one knows why they're required, etc etc.
As for coats to charities - check food banks too as they often have "clothing banks" at their sites.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Can’t seem to get moving today… doing a little job and then sitting down procrastinating for half an hour. Ironically if I get cracking on today’s to do list it’ll probably only take a couple of hours and i would have finished by now!Two more things sold on vinted- when people send in offers it often makes me laugh - one was less than 30% of what i listed. The listing had only been live for thirty mins when they sent it. Ironically by the time i’d checked my inbox someone else had bought it at full price!
My self employed contract continues to do my head in. I’ve yet another email to send off telling them they can’t just tell me what they ‘need’ as I am not an employee and nor is it in the agreed contract. They literally say to just bill them for the extra hours. 🙄 - I’ll just cancel my other clients contracts then. All of whom I never gave issues with!Don’t put it down - put it away!

I'm continuing to incredibly slowly try to declutter the coat/shoe downstairs cupboard. DH even decluttered some things out of the shoe cleaning box, although I think he needs to get rid of more, so will be tackling him on that later! A few things have been rehomed, but I'm mostly trying to get things down to the minimum and each decision is taking me ages to make now (although to be fair I'm quite busy at work, so not much time). As long as things are going the right way, it's ok since the house is always "alright" these days.Went to put the duvet cover in the cupboard earlier and found it has a massive tear where it has literally fallen to pieces (threadbare!) over 10 years of use. So that is in the recycling and I'll have to buy another one as I only have the one, which is currently on the bed.May pop back later if I can find more bits and pieces to declutter. Looking forward to an end of the week gin and tonic later!Digital:New total = 5,454

Yesterday afternoon I got a phone call - could I go to SA as the textile recycling chap had arrived. I was there quite a while - he took away nearly 150 sacks of textiles. Mr F met me at the SA and then went into town again with more stuff for the charity shop.
Mr F is meant to do exercises on the days when he doesn't go out - he never has a day at home.
I went back to SA in the evening to lock up.
Before bed I sorted out stuff ready to take to charity shop in the morning.
