Shocked and amazed! I am sitting about trying to rest up a very twingey back and the OH starts banging about.
Next thing he asks about "what's in this box, do you want this? this? this?" (If I'd wanted it it would be back in the kitchen). And next he asks if I want to come out for a ride as he has to go to the dump and the charity shop and do some shopping. I said fine but only if I didn't have to get out of the care. That's fine.
Get into the monster truck he drives and he's already turned on the heating on my seat (lovely on the back) and he tours me around to the dump, the shop, the chazza and home. Wasn't even grumpy that he had to park at the far end of the parking lot to do the shopping (he's a "as close to the door as possible" type) and didn't get over fussed when he scrapped the side of the vehicle against one of their safety bollards at the exit. (no real damage done, might have scrapped some dirt off)
So dining room is a bit tidier and I didn't lift a finger!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Absolutely wonderful day at Crufts! If you’re a dog lover it’s worth going at least once. Yes it can be expensive but that’s if you buy food there and feel you “must buy” all the new shiny stuff like posh leads, collars, toys, treats etc etc
I always take my own food and drink and get business cards from stall holders I’m interested in. I go for the experience, to talk to dog owners, to see Discover Dogs and watch some stuff in the arena.
its also one of the very rare occasions I “go anywhere” as I hate shopping and have to prepare myself for large crowds. I have some awesome memories though!⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Hi all, poor day here, woke about 7 but fell asleep again on the couch about 10 after sorting through some magazines. Tore out a few recipes and recycled the rest, put away some footy programmes that were in the pile. I woke up about 1.30 and all I did was sort out the washing so 3 LDFPA and 3 more loads through the machine. I planned on doing some more ironing but it didn't happen. The kitchen bin was emptied. This cold is dragging on unfortunately. OH has developed an addiction to balsamic vinegar and olive oil on bread
and I have had to ask that it is prepped on a plate as I keep finding little puddles on the worktop
@Florenceem good to hear Mr F is getting out and about, he must be improving with all the walks to the cs
@GrannyKate good luck with the house sale
@Brie well done on training OH, long may it continue
@Muddy_Walker, yes I think I would like to go to crufts, it always looks good when I catch it on tv. OH's sister used to show her boxers and got to show at crufts a few times but she has retired now
Ok off to bed now, hugs to anybody who would like one

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Thursday: Up at 09:00 - overcast but dry. Watched Series 1 of Baptiste. Kept nodding off through the day. Hm spaghetti bolognaise for dinner. Enough lo for Friday’s dinner. Started watching Series 2 of Baptiste. DSis & I watched a bit of Crufts. Wudupa.
350 - 353 Kitchen & office recycling, drinks cans, glass jar - recycled

Friday: lovely sunny day but with a very chilly wind. DSis has done her washing & put out on whirligig but nothing is drying - despite the wind. I was up at 10:00 & have done precisely nothing 😔 Nothing dried outside so 3 loads of washing tumble dried by DSis 😔 The sum total of my endeavours today was to write a shopping list for DH & then put everything away when he got back 😅 Used up the rest of the Bolognaise sauce with linguine. Wudupa
356 - 357 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled

Morning folks. Fingers crossed we'll declutter the whole house today as we have a viewing at 1.30! Be great if she bought it. Estate Agent is doing the viewing as I work in a local school and would rather not bump into any students in my home. Returning the second unsuitable swimsuit for a refund today. Have bought a third so fingers crossed it will be fine. Am not a swimsuit freak but the first two were low quality despite being expensive. Right off do a swim aand then home for some cleaning14
