Mrs_Salad_Dodger said:Wednesday2000, I have vague memories of watching Murder One when it first aired 😊 I loved both Daniel Benzali & Stanley Tucci - both great actors & their characters were absolutely superb 🥳 I think that SYLO was replaced by football or something 😔
I caught a slight cold at the weekend and woke up coughing and I took paracetamol and went back to sleep. I feel a lot better now and I had almost 11 hours sleep. I was supposed to be getting a facial today so I cancelled that.
I haven't done much today and I'm not even showered yet! I did put some citric acid down the bathroom sink and the toilet and I scrubbed the bathroom sink, but that is about all for today.
I have found another couple who early retired, sold all their stuff and are travelling around the world so I might watch some more of their videos now. 2GoRoam.19 -
Hello all, hope everyone is doing well with their decluttering. I on the other hand have done nothing, zero, except another hospital appointment yesterday which turned into a bit of a farce as they didn't have me on their list. I was ready for a sit in as without being seen would have put my op back a week. 1 and a half hours and a lot of apologies later I was done and dusted. We sat in the hospital coffee shop relaxing afterwards when I got recalled as part of my blood test hadn't been done 🙄 Luckily we hadn't left the grounds but still we had to traipse from one end of the hospital to the other and back again, I did almost 5000 steps that day. I must be fitter than I thought !
Now I finally have one more procedure on Tues followed by my op on Wed 6th which I'm not looking forward to but I'll be glad when it's over. DH is treating it like a military operation with lists of this and that and mothering me already bless him and my Dad still can't get where or when the procedure or op is and is confusing the hospitals/ times so he's driving me nuts. In all fairness I've been hopping between 3 different hospitals for different things in the last couple of weeks. If anyone wants me I'll be in the TLC carriage probably in the spa, or here with my head in the gas oven for the next week 🤣
I hope no one minds me unburdening my thoughts as I know there are lots of other people on here who are having a difficult time too. Many hugs to you all.
Vulpix hurrah for St Rachael, hope MrV gets sorted asap.
MrsSD don't forget to feed the worms 😁

Yep Mrs SD, we figured there would be no excuse in May so I booked it.
If I can keep up the momentum I might be on maintenance decluttering towards the end of the year (🤞) but I have quite a long way to go for that so am trying to ensure there is progress every day however small. I will be using 4/6 hours a week for tlc. I have booked eldest dd into an art class on Sundays (she had a session in half term and loved it). It is only 1.5 hrs long so once I drop her off I will sit in a coffee shop and read 😊. Time to recharge my batteries! The first book on my list is the Christmas pig by jk Rowling. Got it for eldest dd and she has finished it and doesn't want to keep it (major victory!)
Didn't manage to declutter my clothes last night but did it this afternoon while ds napped.
I have pulled put quite a bit but I have some gaping holes in my wardrobe so am going to order what I need tonight rather than run on bare minimum like I have been doing until the end of last year 🤨
I will post totals later.
Congratulations on decluttering your job queenjess! I hope you have lots of happiness in your new one ❤️

Hello all
Tiny bit of final decluttering done tonight, some more packaging gone, unfit swimsuit has been decluttered back to the company and money should be credited back to my bank account. Swimming gear popped in my new and fab swimming bag ready for a lido swim tomorrow and old bag decluttered into the bin as its ripped.
House is now beautiful, clean and ready to have estate agent photos taken tomorrow.
Having a rest now. Very glad to hear the roofers have turned up @liverpool_anne20 -
We turned the heating on too late this year. We thought just adding more lauers was the best answer! Since we jave jad the new double glazing at the back of the house we have had much more condensation! I scrubbed all of the mould from the corner of our bedroom wall and have prepared it ready for anti mould paint but now the front bedroom has started to smell musty. Nothing for it but to turn out the big wardrobes, wash everything down and let it air out.
To cut a long story short, one side of the big wardrobe has been emptied and everything washed down. (It has shelving that houses files, printer, dh's indoor tool box, computer and lots of other random bits and pieces). Whilst at it I cleared out some old college work from 20 yrs ago. Another half bin bag filled.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £17.98 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

I have sorted another bin bags of clothes from my wardrobe. They are in the back of the car I will take them tomorrow to the local hospice charity shop. I will have another go at some point. I have clothes that don’t fit or that I wouldn’t wear again I am sure I have more in there. We are selling this house and moving area so lots can go I don’t want to take the excess of stuff that I have Also I need to go through the kitchen cupboards as I have lots in there as well.21

Picked up my new glasses today and my brain is slowly getting used to them. My eye is obviously trying to focus as previously it had to try a bit too hard and now needs to relax. After thinking I was done decluttering for the day, when I ran around doing a bit of tidying I found the odd thing to go and also the stack of foreign travel books/maps that DH wanted to get rid of (I don't want any of them, so I told him to get rid of whatever he fancied). I've filed them in the charity box for now (almost full, so will have to take more stuff soon). I also randomly reviewed one shelf in the big upstairs cupboard as it's starting to feel cluttered again and found loads to go on just one shelf. I think I'll be reviewing the other non-linen shelves in there (the linen stuff has been minimal for ages) to see if I have anything else to go. Also squeezed in some more email decluttering since I had a spare 5 mins.Digital:
18 - emails deleted from permanent folders
1 - text conversations deleted
Physical:
2 - plug with instructions (Buy Nothing)
18 - maps/tourist guidebooks (charity box/recycled/ziffit)
4 - empty tissue boxes kept just in case (recycled)
4 - broken nappies (binned)
1 - ripped plastic bag (recycled)
1 - broken plastic wallet (binned)
1 - broken changing mat (binned)
New total = 4,851Interestingly in my digital notes (will need to be sorted through at some point), I had written that I had a total of 9,850 emails in my sent/inbox/permanent files before I started going through things at some point last year. I now have 930. That's quite a decrease!2025 decluttering: 3,235🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

The only thing decluttered beyond the recycling has been a pair of jeans to the rag bag. They’ve been hanging around for painting & gardening but the tears are too much and do nothing to save my modesty!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

So.much going on here and impressed by those preparing to.move. spoke to an agent who said they had a house thought I may like , sounded good then saw plans, one else bedroom than told and you walk off the street into the dining room- not for me! But dd1 is asking if I can make sure she doesn't have a box room when she moves back in with me - I think she believes I'm going round the globe for a year and she will have the house to herself. Has promised to come round when she's done exams to help
Out small filing cabinet to charity, wouldn't take desk as needs couple of screw to take apart so may offer locally. Item sold and posted with packaging and some papers sorted so 4, slight plod forward.19
