My thoughts on the cats @dND was that they were staking their claim for when the boxes are emptied and need sitting in. Third house valuation today - all the same - I have to pick one now and get on with it. I am dreading the thought of all the stuff.

I have several jugs I can use plus a cut glass vase I remember on grandma's sideboard in 1950s and an extra tall straight one which DIL bought me for things like gladioli. The rest can go.

I had just finished watching Countdown when DH phoned 😊 Everyone is having an absolutely brilliant time despite the really cold weather 🥶 - DSis is getting on really well with E, DH is having great conversations with G & the dogs are behaving themselves 😊 They are currently in the marina at Bunbury - E is walking the dogs, G & my DSis have gone shopping & DH will be having a shower once he has finished chatting to me 😊 They are getting the toilets pumped, new gas bottle & water tank filled up & will be moving on tomorrow. I really do think that if I had gone, I would have really struggled with the cold 😱Just realised that I have been neglecting the birds 😔 all bird feeders now filled although a bit late for today 😞
Great photo dND 😊 I see the cats have forgiven you - now that you have provided them with an interesting climbing frame 😂 The room looks like a nice size with plenty of light coming in 🙂 Now the exciting part begins - opening boxes & finding your treasures 🥳 Good luck 🍀 but please remember to take plenty of breaks & visits to the the TLC Carriage 🙏
Excellent decluttering Dfw38 👏 & very well done to DS re his toys - one medal🏅 for DS 🙂
-taff, are Star Bars still the same as they were?

EnergyShifter, no worries - you will soon get back on track with your In/Out ratio 😊 I agree that dNDs cats are gorgeous 😻
London_1, hopefully with all these viewings there will be an offer really soon & at full asking price🤞It will make your trip to the IoW even more pleasurable knowing that your house is under offer & all you & your family need to do is concentrate on finding your forever home 😊 I love reading your posts, full of wit & wisdom - like chatting to a neighbour over the garden fence 😊 Good luck with the JIC drawers in the kitchen 🍀 Sounds like DGS Jack will give you a big boost on your final push towards being able to pack & go 🥳
charlies_tribe, hope dog 1 is OK & not unwell🤞Fingers crossed that your afternoon was not as busy as your morning 🤞

I didn't get around to sorting out the kitchen cupboard yesterday. I will do that in a minute. I feel like I'm coming down with a slight cold. It seems to happen after every time I go into London now.
We got an email saying that someone wants to buy our spare Taylor Swift ticket for over £500. My husband thought he was buying two tickets for the Saturday night concert but he accidentally bought only one! Hopefully that will go through nearer the time as that would mean we get 5 times what we paid for it!Ticketholders are able to resell their tickets via the official resale facilities provided by the official ticket agents, being Ticketmaster and AXS in the UK.
Ticketholders can resell any or all of their tickets, including the lead booker ticket.
Through the official resale facilities, ticket resale prices are capped to help combat the inflation of ticket prices and put a stop to ticket touting and bots.
Purchasing tickets via the official resale facilities also ensures that the ticket you are purchasing is genuine. As set out in the terms and conditions of sale, any tickets found to be purchased via resale on the non-official secondary market will not be valid for entry into the concerts and will be cancelled. Therefore, we strongly advise that you sell and purchase your tickets via the official ticket agents.

Well I was hoping to have some good figures for Feb but alas it hasn’t happened.
However 2 big frogs have been dealt with as far as I can and work newbie stress has improved. The evenings are lighter, things are growing, and the weather will eventually get a bit warmer!
I have a starbar ready for work in the office tomorrow and if we get the bonus we’ve been “promised” that can pay for a wee holiday in September 😊
reading a very odd book at the moment- Cloud Cuckoo Land by the person who wrote All the light we cannot see/touch - something like that anyway. It’s a good premise but deals with a lot of Greek ancient writing and I’m struggling a bit. Still, gonna plod along with it…..⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

The hob is looking fabulous Mrs SD!

15 books to a friend
13 vinted sales
5 odds and ends to charity shop
1 inherited vintage magazine sold
1 box of out of date tea thrown
3 suncreams gone
I think that brings me to 89 / 2024
I'm currently having a big sort out before we bring a new kitten home later this week so I'm expecting some big numbers to be going out of the door tomorrow & Thursday xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Thank-you for the medal for ds Mrs SD.
I am glad you are enjoying your quiet time. I don't often get any.... can count on 1 hand for the amount since eldest dd was born (nearly 9 years ago 😱) but on that very rare occasion I truly treasure it 😊. When ds starts nursery I will get 6 hours a week with no-one to entertain but myself... and ziggy 😉. Moved the furniture around and am going to run through my clothes tonight and am hoping to convince dh to do some of his 🤞

I didn't do the kitchen cupboards again! I am distracted as we are on the last few episodes of Murder One, season 1. I think SYLO is on tonight too...
I will have to get cracking tomorrow. I might be inspired by Iwan to do a whole kitchen clean and declutter.

Update… i stink… the blue bin had a contaminated label on… wish i’d gone down sooner. I had to empty a bit (very naughty) before i could move it. Now i know why mine was probably stolen as they couldn’t use theirs!
I did not put hood up or scarf over face but tough!
The address on the bin is two streets away!
Sorry… not sorry, gonna strip the ID off and own it?!
Don’t put it down - put it away!
