Morning all. List for today is just to finish packing stuff, going away first thing. Eat up, or freeze stuff that won't last till we get back.
Well done, @Asparklierblonde, for teaching your children young how to do things. Thought all mine young how to light fires, cook, fix cars, etc. Never too young to learn.
Wishing you all, and all your families a great and peaceful, Christmas. With, hopefully, electricity, heat, and water. "Speak" to you all again after the 28th. Hugs to all, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2023.

That's me done with the paid stuff until Wednesday. Called at Mr C00p on my way home and picked up a Christmas TV magazine for £1.60....much more mse than the bigger brands at £4.99 or £5.50 and still does the job.
I've arranged for my flylady cards parcel to be redelivered tomorrow so I'll be waiting in until the postie has been.
They're dropping like flies with covid at work so everything is crossed that the lurgy has avoided me. Things to do, people to see. Maybe even some flying 🤔
See you tomorrow

Well whatever we haven't done now, won't be done until we come back from Dorset - and that includes decorating the tree...currently it is up and has lights and a lovely knitted decoration but we have just run out of time. I did 5 flower arrangements this morning so I'm truly flowered out!
Have a lovely Christmas everyone, I expect I will be lurking. I hope the weather isn't too unkind to any of you. xRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Evening everyone...
A successful day I think. This was my to-do list:- Throws in WM and then on the line Done - they are still on the line and can stay there now until tomorrow as we are not due any rain overnight. An extra WM load of clothes was done and these are currently drying in the TD.
- Get car off the drive and open side gate before 11am ready for the log delivery. All done, new log bags in place and covered with tarpaulin, car back on drive.
- Finalise the Mr T order for tomorrow. Done
- Clean the bathroom, utility area, hallway and kitchen. If I'm having DGD tomorrow I won't be able to do anything then! Kitchen only partially done because I decided to make some sausage rolls (bonus task!). These are now in the freezer until Saturday. Kitchen will be the focus of cleaning stuff tomorrow in between times
I hope the covid bug has missed you @roundtuit and anyone else who has been in potential contact with it.
My BIL went down with it (quite mildly) at the weekend but is still testing +ve so my DSis is having to run around sorting everything out with the shopping etc. builders, (they have builders in at the moment because they had a burst water pipe on the top floor that flooded an awful lot of things (including bringing down some ceiling) before it was noticed - but they have a self-contained granny-annex type thing which they are currently living in while the builders do their job so BIL is isolated from them) what's the betting my DSis goes down with it Christmas eve?!
Have a good evening.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
