Morning all,
My list for today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Open the windows and let some air in.
Put last night's laundry into the drier.
Empty the drier and put the laundry away
Take the turkey out of the freezer.
Hand deliver the rest of the Christmas cards.
Clean out the guinea pigs cage - groom them and give a quick health check.
Go into town and get hay and treats for the cat
Collect meds for DD from the chemist for over festive period
Take the kids to the horses (think I will use this child-free time to get some presents wrapped)
Collect the kids from the horses
Water the plants
Defrost the small freezer
Tidy away the pile that has accumulated on the sofa
Collect the rest of the festive food
Get stationery that is needed for returning to uni whilst in town.
Wrap presents - I need to get everything wrapped today as I'm working a 12 hour shift tomorrow. Work in Progress, but I need to get more paper as run out and still have a few things to wrap.
Iron my work clothes for the next couple of days.
Work out cooking times for Christmas day as DH will be doing the cooking since I'm working.
Declutter 50 emails from inbox
Check banking and make sure all direct debits/payments are in the diary for next month.
Think that is everything that I need to tackle today, it seems a lot so I best get started once I have finished my morning cup of tea. Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday. Hugs to those who need/want them as this can be a difficult time of year.9 -
Morning all
Hope you’re all well today. So far I’ve made my bed, set the WM and DW going, cleaned out the hens and fed everyone. DS has got the fire going.
AF has arrived, which is no fun combined with this ruddy cough! I am going to have late breakfast now then have a shower and do an at home facial. Then put clean PJs on and that’s me for the day 😊😊
I have decided to postpone the decorating until the 27th, it’s too wet and windy to have the windows open to get some air in for the fumes to dissipate. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it 🤣🤣10 -

Trying to get on here before the morning ends. My brain is a shed, but it has no reason to be. DH is getting under my feet. Thank goodness it isn’t raining, as I have been able to kick him outside. Not sure how long he will stay there, mind, but every little helps.
WM x 2 done. DR dusted and clean tablecloth dug out. Fridges are in the process of being sorted, as DH has come home with the biggest chicken known to man.
I have a list, the trouble is that I keep adding to it….

(((Hugs))) to Fayolle - I know what you mean about your DH, mine is the same x
Hope you feel better soon, Valli x
Hope you're feeling better, now you've got some space in your house, pigpen! BTW, I have just hung your little angel from last year on my tree x (I won't be getting my Flylady cards until 27th, which is something to look forward to)
Back later xxx8 -
Apparently the world's biggest chicken weighed 23 lbs. Who knew?
I wish I could have seen Fayolle's face when OH brought home his chicken 🤣 That's made my day....I'm easily amused. Sorry.
I've texted DS to say that if he's been very good Mammy Christmas will bring him a little present on Monday. They already have their big present. He says he's been very good, and when he wasn't he didn't get caught- that's my boy 🥰
I'm going to read a little then finish my wrapping while I'm in the mood 🙃
