I have the mother of all spots in my chin and AF turned up day before yesterday.. so I want to put myself in the bin.

I have the front room to tidy .. or delegate.

KItchen and all visible floor to be vacuumed..

Girls watching The Grinch then Dot and Twinle can be flung in the bath.. Twinkle is full of a cold and has a horrendous cough.

fold washing

make sure we have bin bags.

vacuum kitchen

vacuum back room

wash carpet

delegate front room mess

go to Meems
go to DD1's

try to source a screwy lightbulb

no doubt 1000 other things I have forgotten at this moment.

I'm OK asb just feeling a bit bleurgh and covid wouldn't usually cross my mind, but it was in the office last week and I don't want to take it to vulnerable family members. The test was negative (not sure how accurate it was) so I'm going to go with how I feel. We're not a huggy family apart from me and DS hugging so I can visit and keep my distance. 

I've spoken to Pops and said I'll nip round about 2.30 ish.

Well, I did dust upstairs, got distracted, and thought s*d the vacuum cleaning. But I have cleared the ironing pile, wrapped the last lingering present, tidied up the spare room from Operation Christmas and put away the clean washing. I have a loaf proving, have written a list or 3, and am now going to sneak in a quick HH knitting - not a Christmas present in case you were in awe at my optimism, but a new baby present for the new year.
Our Christmas tree has no decorations on it, just lights. Seems a bit late in the day to start making that effort, so I might start a new family tradition.

Dog walked, two wash loads on airer, house hoovered.  DH currently has a ham in the oven but apart from that Xmas prep is all done. A relaxing afternoon awaits.

I hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow. We’re dealt with the pheasants given to us from the shoot next door yesterday, and now we’re starting at 1000 piece jigsaw. Stay safe, keep calm and remember it’s only one day xxx

well.. I haven't stopped but have not touched the things I put on the list.. I do have worksurfaces in the kitchen.

I felt better after parrots and a hot lemon thingy....so I went to see Pops for a couple of hours. He's been ill all week, but the antibiotics are kicking in now. Talking made him cough but he insisted my company was doing him good. 
And I've come home to a message saying that P is back in A&E - he's the one waiting for heart surgery. 

On a more positive note there was a hole in one of the bags that Pops gave me - but the bottle of wine didn't fall through it until I put it in my car boot...when it slid gracefully out and stood in the boot. I'm not sure how it stayed in the bag until then. I'm just glad it did.

I can't decide if I want to stop the world and get off, or if I want to drive down to Fayolle's to see that chicken. 🤔

Hope everyone has a good Christmas

We went to visit FIL today as he choses to spend tomorrow alone 

Have done some prep for tomorrow and cleaned through so tonight we have some party food and playing a game....I just realised I forgot to put washer on oops

ironing done, cards posted, last bits shopped for (Mr M…not too busy) outside table brought in ready for tomorrow, friend has dropped her folding chairs round.  
I was a bit bushed earlier but seem fine now.
