Does anyone know if there is anything left worth buying the the M&S in Nottingham please?

Hi my aunt went the other day and said it was chaos with clothes all on the floor and everything mixed up she said a jumble sale is neater. All she got was a pair of jeans. She wasn't happy as everything is no return (so how have you been returning coats peeps i have a dress that needs to go back really but bet they won't let me) i would love to go but it's over 30 miles away for me.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30
    but i want never gets!!!
  • Kiti I think you only can't take back stuff marked with a S written on the tags, some of the stuff I got was marked others weren't.

Imported, i thought maybe you could take it back and buy it back on the counter, i wouldnt dare do it though. Well done for hanging about for so long, i feel really lucky to have got such a bargain. I know ive done this in Monsoon before, when i got something full price then it goes in the sale a week later, go back and claim the difference back. They have probably changed their policy by now to stop all the mse-ers ripping them off.

Kiti, you can return stuff as long as its not final reductions or marked with a s on the label or tag, so Imported can still take her coat back for a refund(with the reciept or you only get £3 back:eek:), i cant take my coat back even though it hasnt got a mark on the label. You should be ok to take your dress back.

Not sure about all stores but Guildord had nothing at all yesterday and I asked and they said the sale had ended.

So, the final status of my order placed in the early hours of Christmas day. One item was cancelled a week later. One item arrived a week and a half later. The last item was cancelled 4 days later, but was showing as in stock so I re-ordered it. I phoned them yesterday because I was charged the full cost of all three items on 28th December and have not had anything refunded for the 'out of stock' items. I was told that third item was definitely on its way so she couldn't do a refund on the other items or the postage for it or it would cancel itself.

E-mail today - item out of stock. I've still paid for all three items. They'll be getting another phone call today.

M&S now claim they took £6.75 on 30th December. My bank statement shows £10.50 having gone out on 28th December. M&S say they never took £10.50, only £6.75 and that I need to speak to my bank

I called into Sheffield High St today and I couldn't see any sale clothes downstairs, but they did have a little sale console upstairs with lingerie, nightwear, a few men's items and some Christmassy bits and bobs. All the underwear and nightwear I bought went through at £1 each. While I was there an assistant brought out another rail of stuff, which was promptly swiped by the bustling hordes! :D

It would be worth a visit if you are particularly minuscule in the under-boob area (how delicately am I putting this) as they had loads of bras with a chest size of 30 - plenty if you're a 30A, but even going up to improbable sizes such as 30D - I didn't think that was physically possible unless you were a cartoon character/had had extreme surgery...

So no bras left for the more, ahem, generously endowed amongst us - clearly we're well built in Yorkshire! ;)
