At Peterborough M&S yesterday the majority of the store was still rails of sale stuff. Loads and loads of stuff.0 -
Hmmm, I ordered on Boxing Day.
Not had any emails saying anything is out of stock but when I checked online it still says "not yet despatched" - delivery estimate 8 - 10 Jan.
Should I be concerned?
They did this last year and I never received a single item. They said they were awaiting stock on one item and in the meantime my whole order sold out.
Get a feeling of deja vu.....Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

i rang up and complained yesterday and asked why my order placed on 25th was still being processed.
The lady could only tell me what I knew myself from trackng my order. what is the point of that! She said it was difficult when so many people using the website to keep track of stock. I suggested they speak to any other large on lne service and get some hints and maybe should not take any more orders until this fiasco has been sorted.
I told her there were lots of discussions about tha bad service received and that someone should be notified.
I see today that theere is a large sign on the website

for anyone still looking for bargains I was in M and S in Tottenahm Court Road yesterday and their Chrstmas section was untouched...loads of bargains - just have to carry them home0 -
My sale order came to £55 which was quite a bargain and I am left with only 1 pair of trousers value £19 coming and I also ordered 11.45 xmas eve and all was in stock then - very fed up and have sent them a few not very nice e-mails. How can they do this to us all.Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0

Have just had another email sayong nore items out of stock and again the delivery date has been put back!!
Only 10 items remain when I ordered 27!!
Don't think I'll hold my breath on this one ever arriving now!0 -
Dear M & S
I had a dreadful experience with your online ordering from the summer sale when you completely mucked up my order and I received nothing after numerous telephone calls. I was offered compensation in the form of gif vouchers to use in store but again received nothing!
I decided to take a chance and see if all the dreadful problems had been resolved all these months later and try the Christmas sale, It would seem nothing whatsoever has happened and the whole system is still a complete shambles!
I placed my order in the morning on Christmas Day and almost everyday I have had an email from you to say another item has gone out of stock and for some reason my delivery date is put back each time also.
I appreciate it is a busy time and goods go out of stock but I have bought things online in the sales from you many times before but the problems that are occurring now are unacceptable and not improving!
Would you please look into this situatiion and let me know hat is happening. I think alking to others that you are going to lose many customers who would use your online service and I chose not to order any Christmas presents online this year for that reson (though I took a gamble with ordering wine that lukily worked eventually!).
I look forward to hearing your reply and finding out what you intend to do about this poor service currently being offered.

My entire order was out of stock - and I ordered 4am Christmas day (couldn't sleep in spare room as had a houseful of guests!) - they have given me £25 credit on my next web order.0

I received an order with 1 item missing and I rang the customer services and asked them to remove it from my statement. The bloke on the phone tried to tell me that the item may come with the rest of the order but if it says dispatched and it doesn't arrive with everything else then I am going to presume that it will never arrive. I did manage to get them to give me a credit for the item.0
