I have just had an email cancelling my whole order - EIGHT items - I bought early on 25 December. I have demanded compensation.

This is what they did to me in the Summer. If you phone up they will offer 10%... I carefully (and politely!) expressed my concerns about their entire system, they gave me £25 in shop vouchers.

I have not bothered to use M&S on-line since as they are a shambles.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • both my orders are now showing as dispatched:j

I've had problems too like a lot of people here! Around four items cancelled taking me to around £27 so below to £30 free delivery bracket so I've been charged for that - I know this happened to a few on here so I rang up to say how unhappy I was with this! Was then told that the free delivery code wasn't applicable to sale orders(!?) and it ran out on the 28/12/07 - however I placed my order on 25/12/07 just after midnight and I told the guy that it had discounted my p&p on my original order which was over £30!
He told me to ring once I had recieved my order, I'm wondering whether I should email them as a few of you on here seem to have already recived a refund for p&p. Hmm.

This is what they have said to me, ring after you have got your order as we cant refund you the postage as its in the process of being dispatched - well it doesn't say that on the website

This happened to me as well i called and told girl it was a poor system allowing you to think you had purchased items that were not in stock and she agreed;) I explained the removal of items meant i had to pay p&p she offered to refund this, and when i checked she had.Ask if you can add something to order to make it over 30.00(you cant) then they will take p&p off for you. I had two things removed, 1 order dispatched and one still pending, but saves me battling crowds with no gaurantee i would have got what i wanted anyway. The free delivery is still on their website for orders over 30.00 isnt it? Call back and am sure you will get charge removed:o

This happened to me too. My £45 order was decimated and is now only £12:mad: . Sure enough their system then added the delivery charge:mad: I thought it was just a matter of phoning and asking for it to be refunded. But no it appears they have been instructed to tell all customers who complain that the free delivery does not apply to sale items:confused: It doesn't say this anywhere on the website does it:mad: After I hit the roof I did get the charge refunded so keep trying.

My order has been "despatching soon" for three days now.

Each morning I wake up to find another email telling me an item has gone out of stock :(

I went to Marble Arch M&S today. They had lots of Collezione & Autograph mens suits in all sizes.

I have got an order that is despatching soon and I actually want to cancel something in it as it was at full price but not allowed. Order isn't due for delivery until after New Year anyway. I just have got past taking things back sometimes.

I've just looked at the tracking of my order. According to the delivery people it was delivered to me yesterday at 13.28pm - no electronic sig required. Funny how I haven't received it  and I always have to sign for my M&S parcels  . Strange..........................!

The free delivery code was showing on the sale pages on xmas day so how can they say it is not valid?
