i just put a post in the rant board- had 4 out of the 5 items taken off my order as out of stock- go the website and it says they are in stock- ring them up and they say the website is not up to date !!!!!!?!?!?0
-
That is disgusting!
So they still let people happily order items that have been out of stock for days!

My last order has been despatched today with no items removed. For the first time ever I have actually managed to get my orders fulfilled by M&S. Every other time I've ordered, my orders have been cancelled bit by bit until there's nothing left.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

As far as I'm aware, yes. I was in three M&S stores today and some items that were stickered in one store hadn't been done in others, and stuff that was on the website that was reduced wasn't stickered in some stores, even by lunchtime. The items will be reduced on the computer though so if you know it's reduced on the website you can ask an assistant to check the price for you.
Hmm. Do you think it might be store policy to be slow to sticker up the sale items so that they don't go flying off the shelves on the first day? Just a thought, although equally, having seen the poor staff in my local store, I think they may just not have had time to get around to stickering the items.0 -
I picked up a nice cardi with cashmere yesterday reduced from £35 to £9. Only label on it was the Interrligent Label for Stock control. SA brought them out when I was looking and gave me a nudge and said have a look at these. Only £9. So I bought one - can't see it online though

I have two orders with M&S, both for 11 items, one for £31 and one for £58.
They dispatched part one of the first order (apparently their sending it in two parts). And do you know what was dispatched? A scented candle worth £3!!!! Why don't they just send it all together?!
And they've now split order two into two parts. One part is the ten items - mainly men's and kids' clothes. The other part which their dispatching separately is a girl's t-shirt - worth £1.50. Again - why not send them altogether...they've split out the cheapest item from both orders!!!
Bizarre.' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
