A tale of woe here too !

I placed an order at a couple of minutes past midnight on Christmas morning.
Amongst the order was a 2 Duvet covers and four matching pillow cases.

Today I recieved an email saying some items are no longer available, and to check to see what I won't be getting.

Lo and behold its the Duvet covers, but I'm still getting the matching pillowcases

What a bunch of to$$ers
How many brain cells do you need to work out, they ain't much good on their own

Needless to say I've cancelled them, along with the remaining couple of items which I'd ordered to make the order up to £30.

First and last time I shop with M&S:rolleyes:
  • My first two orders were placed at 01:30am on the morning of Christmas Day. My last order was later in the morning Christmas Day. The two orders placed really early have been despatched in their entirety. The last order has had one item despatched (first thing they despatched to me, surprisingly enough - and it's OOS on the site). The rest of the order is sitting there, but showing as to be despatched soon. No OOS emails received.
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

  • I plaed my order of 8 items about 11:30pm on Christmas Eve and today I've had the email saying its been despatched! Rather pleased!

Went into the Peterborough store today around 7am but was a bit miffed to see that there was a fair bit of stuff not yet reduced! - none of the beauty stuff or slippers etc!) Also the changing rooms were closed for the first day of the sale so couldn't try anything on anyway lol! Still managed to spend close to £100 :o

Well, I went sale shopping today and trailed round all three of our M&S branches, bought a pile of stuff so came home and cancelled my online order because I'd found it all in store. Most useful thing about having looked at the website was that I knew what items I wanted were reduced, so even if the staff hadn't got round to stickering them I knew the reduction would go through at the till. Great for stuff like their £1 kids jeans!

When does the next round of reductions happen?
    Val.

I've had to phone up the CS after three bras i had ordered mysteriously disappered off my order thus putting me under the £30 threshold so I was charged for delivery.
She took off the fee but to be honest i am not suprised my the incompetence of M&S cos I went through it in the summer.
I am a life-long cynic so can't help wondering if this is a data gathering exercise rather than a proper sale!
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

What people need to realise on this thread is that shopping with M&S online is a bit like Quidco. You MIGHT get a deal and if you do fantastic - but there are no promises, and it really is a lottery as to whether you get what you expected. (So don't promise your kids something just because M&S accepted your order - or even if they charge your credit card!)

If only they hadn't used Antonio Banderas in their ads, and had spent his fee on decent IT staff instead, then their business model would be so much better!
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • the internet shopping with M&S along with credit cards needs lot of prayers too.
oh the online shopping saga with M&S continues. they really need to sort out stuff.
Went to the store, this morning, picked up most of the stuff that i had my eyes on, but also had ordered it on the internet on 25th.
But as usual my online items were still showing "to be dispatched" when i came back from the store sale.
Any guesses what i did next, cancelled all my online orders with them : ).

Is it correct that the same items on the website are also reduced instore? I went to my local M&S this morning and left empty handed shortly therafter due to the dearth of genuine sale items. Is it possible that the items on the shop floor just hadn't been stickered at this point?
