Marks and Spencer sale

Haven't had an out of stock email yet, but I'll be gutted if I do; this was my shopping for all the family birthdays this year. First time I've done online shopping in the sales, and didn't realise that M&S were notorious for online sales issues.
Fingers crossed!' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
They are having a laugh with this. I've just had an email telling me that some of my stuff is out of stock (but not charging me delivery since that now takes me down to £26).
Yesterday I had a dispatch email of two things (50p each) that I had added to bulk up my order. Ironic if I get those and nothing else.:rolleyes:Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Well I phoned and it seems the website has been having stock problems for 2 weeks (ideal time to hold a sale then!) and non of my boots/shoes are in stock:mad:
Did get the postage removed on a lower order though.
One order left full of sock and boxers...we'll see.0 -

Hope this helps.

We went to the Metro Centre M&S store for 6am this morning and considered the sale items there to be thin on the ground especially in the larger sizes for men and women. Spent approx. £73
Then we went to the Newcastle store for the 8am start. That was a better one for us and we spent £131.
When we got home there was an email to say 2 of the 5 orders have been despatched. They were placed just after midnight on the 25th and as I have had loads of bother with M&S sales this year I am well pleased with the good start.
Most of the items ordered on line I could not get this morning in either of the 2 stores and both of them are large stores.
Fingers crossed for more orders to be sent out soon.0 -
Went to Camberley M&S this morning at 6am.
A lot of the things I ordered online I couldn't find in the store... So have managed to buy quite a few items in addition to online order.
I have had emails this morning to say two of my orders have been dispatched. The third though states some of the items are now out of stock.Very strange as I ordered at 11 pm on 24th Dec, so must have been one of the first to place an order.

Placed 4 separate orders and some items out of stock on 2 of them bringing them to under £30 and invoking 2 delivery charges.
The daft thing is when I was doing my orders it updated live to say some things in my basket had "gone" so I selected other items and these must be out of stock as well.
I thought they had a "realtime" stock update but I suppose with so many people ordering at the same time there is bound to be some slip ups.
Sad thing is the items I REALLY wanted are gone and the ones that were "fillers" are in stock. Always the way !:rotfl:0 -

Thanks for that, I was seething because I got an email this morning saying that an item on my order was not available, which put me under the £30 free delivery. Have just phoned and requested they remove the delivery charge, which they say they will do.
Still disappointed though about not getting the trousers I wanted, I ordered them between 12.10 and 1.00 am on Christmas Day, so how many could they have had in stock then? The sale is turning into a bit of a joke really isn't it, you happily order things, get the confirmation email and then get told you can't have them. Makes you wonder if it is worth all the time spent trawling through all of the sale items in the first place.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -
I put in a £101 order on Christmas Day - didn't bother to split it up and just had email saying whole lot has been despatched. Hopefully it has and I will receive them all! No bargains like the freeview boxes from last Christmas though - they were superb.
I remember the Freeview boxes. I got 3, and this year they are in use, as we now have Freeview, not bad for £3 each were they.Sam:happylove0
