Standard delivery...that's why I'm shocked!
Unfortunately, sale shopping, in my opinion, on M&S can be hit & miss...last sale some of the items which were shown as being in stock when I ordered failed to arrive adn got cancelled off my order without any notification!0 -
ive put in 7 orders  majority done around 11pm-1am xmas eve/day. NONE of them are showing as despatched. I did call them on boxing day regarding my payment details. There seems to be a discrepancy with the postcode - it's showing my delivery postcode rather than my billing postcode. Lady said shouldn't be a problem. I did spend hours on those orders and have no intention of going instore. I will be very very very angry if they mess this up AGAIN.
Holding my breath!0 -
here we go ...........e mail arriving ......items out of stock......we will send you what we have got......oh and by the way we are going to charge you the postage cost as well. Why no option to increase the order with items in stock? Only £5 short of required £30. What a shower, clueless!!sanfly0

Got the e-mail this morning too. That's a really bad system- how can they continue to sell items that are out of stock??:mad:Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0 -
Yep, got the email for a nigh on £300 order. It says 'one or more of your items may be out of stock, please check your order'. I check my order and have ALL the items, but split into two orders. Both saying despatching soon. So I am none the wiser.0

Yep I got the email too, same as another poster, it has taken me below £30 so have been charged for delivery but tbh, after last time I am not expecting to receive any of it. For such a big company their system is shockingly poor.      :mad:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I have also had the out of stock e mail I placed my order at 6.00am xmas morning. The rest of it is just showing as a delivery date 3rd - 10th January. 2 of the things I bought at full price before xmas for a wedding later in the year which I intend to return, but am not risking that until the others arrive. I am going shopping in Marks today so if I see them instore I wiil buy them again and return all the others. If they cannot get there act together they can pay for the return postage.0

Same story here
Out of stock email received and order has gone below £30 so they are charging me delivery. Maybe the splitting up into £30 orders wasn't that good an idea. Damn them.

I wish they would go back to using the old system0
