What I'm doing is ordering online, but if I see the same item in the shop sale I'll buy it too, hang onto the reciept and take one back if I end up with two. That way I maximise my chances of getting what I want...having said that, I've only put in two £40 orders, and that's for stuff I don't have to try on.

M&S at 6am tomorrow...urgh.

My orders both say despatch date 7th January and I hope this is right as I don't want them sent to my workplace before I go back on 2nd January. Do M&S usually stick to their stated despatch dates?

Not in my experience of their online sales. Like many others I have had very bad experiences of M&S - with larg numbers of my ordered items suddenly going out of stock well after the original promised delivery date.

I've placed some orders but am more hoping than expecting that they will arrive.
