Morning all, It's a sunny but cold start to the day.
My list for today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Phone the dentist as I need to get an emergency appointment
Do paid stuff (10am - 2pm)
Attend emergency dentist appointment
Wrap present for work colleague
Find gift voucher (I printed off a gift voucher and now can't find it, really don't want to reprint)
Do some revision for the exam I have next week.
Sort through the unwanted pile of stuff and put it on the free group to see if anyone wants it otherwise, it will be going to the recycling centre tomorrow.
Order present for MIL
Do some festive shopping
Go to petrol station (could be interesting as never put fuel in DH's car before)
Update Mr T online order
Collect DH from work as still using his car
Collect my car from the garage (hopefully)
Think that is everything that I need to tackle today. Hope everyone has a lovely Friday.8 -
Daily stuff doneChristmas tree up, OH wanted to do it, so I let him and cat 2 get on with it, it looks a mess, my mouth is tightly sealed, I have said nothing, he is not my fav person atm, because of the way he spoke to me / said something to me.I'll just wait for the cat to pull it over, then I can redo it to my standard!Deer and birds fed.Going shopping in a bitBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Evening.
Strange day. Ended up going back to bed and sleeping solidly for 90 minutes after my drug dealer delivered my repeat prescription this morning. I clearly needed it.
Woke up and the stabbed arm is feeling a lot better. Pottered with lunch etc. then settled into wrapping Christmas presents. They are all now wrapped, labelled and in a cardboard box in the middle-spare room ready for Christmas day.
DS is still feeling crap but wants to go ice-skating tomoz with DGD and fam so wanted to do a covid test. The ones he had were out of date. So, muggins here worked out which of the local chemists was likely to have the smallest queue and went and bought some.
I masked up as I went in and felt quite vindicated in doing so when I asked the assistant, once I got to the end of the queue, "can I have some covid tests please?" and people around me flinched and took an involuntary step back....I wore a mask not because I am concerned about spreading germs, more that I want to be protected from germs other people may be spreading! Hey ho!
Hope you are all well xxxI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Oh, and have just had a text from my sister in north London thanking me for my Christmas card which arrived at hers today when I only posted it yesterday morning at the sorting office....That's excellent service! Maybe expedited because I did one of the print stamp things? Who knows! Mount Pleasant mail depot must be fully functioning at the moment!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Got a bit stressed first thing as I had a phone call, two deliveries, the cleaner for the communal areas arrive and A worrying abut something all in the space of a few minutes, whilst I was trying to so something which required 5 minutes of peace and quiet. Took the biscuits and chocs to the church hall (so pleased to get them out of the way). Came back and bought the paper and sent some Christmas cards and posted a tub of gravy salt to my brother. He had sent me two of his tubs and then discovered that the man making it (he started after Burdall's closed down) had retired so he couldn't get any more and wanted a tub back. It's certainly one well-travelled tub of gravy salt lol.We went out to a friend who lives at the end of the road for lunch. It was nice for someone else to be doing the cooking and washing up and to relax for a bit. We came back and I wrote a few more cards and popped out to post them. Made supper, washed up and that's it. I really want to have an early-ish night tonight so I need to start the evening eye medication routine in a minute.

Busy day at work, had unexpected visitors who wanted to look round. Cashed up and banked. walked to Savers…spent ££ but saved ££ on supermarket prices.
Came home and went to Meadowhellwith DD … not too busy but hard work as my stamina is still not good… but getting noticeably better. And I drove. Bought new hairdryer with points (so free) and picked up my M&S advent draw prize so also free. Needed a dryer with a diffuser for my curls.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hallooooo my lovelies xx
I've not posted for a couple of days as it's been sleep, eat, work, repeat. Go to work in the semi-dark. Come home in the dark dark. If I didn't have to go to work I'd probably just eat and sleep. Hibernation! Perhaps I'm a grizzly bear? Or a hedgehog. Probably the bear.
Anyhoo. Tis weeeeekeeeennnd. Yabba dabba doooooooooooo. And all that jazz. Shortest day next week, and I'll be driving home in daylight by the end of January. Think positive thoughts!
I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, taken my meds, and supped my first brew. Work was very quiet yesterday so I drew up a plan of action to prepare for the fat man in a red suit coming down the chimney. I'm hoping that putting up the tree today will ignite some festive feeling. Also some cards to deliver and some presents to wrap today. Pacing myself. And tis Strictly final tonight. And Survivor final. They could have spread it out a bit!!!
Round 1
Brew 2 and breakfast
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
DUPA pots on draining board
WUDUPA pots in bowl
That'll do for starters.
Love to all
Rxx

Morning all,
Another one who hasn’t posted for a couple of days, being on the sleep, work, eat repeat cycle. In the dark, mostly. But that probably holds true for so many things in my life!
I am on a go slow this morning, obviously I need a list to get my derrière into action. The wm is on, the all important second cuppa is being supped. I am totally distracted by my library book that needs to be finished today…
I am, however, trying to look super busy so that DH doesn’t drag me into his to-do list.
Off to write my list.. x
Meant to say - beautiful flowers, Narc0. That is definitely flying extraordinaire.7 -
Morning all
gorgeous sunny day here so i’m hoping to get the washing on the line - bedding, so it should lighten at least. Also hoping to clean out the bunnies…at least with the under storey the hutch stays reasonably clean. I’ve also messaged my friend to see if she fancies a trip out as there’s a nice flat walk we could do, on a former railway line. And a cafe… always a bonus.
