    #16 Gem-Gem reporting £1000 for September.
    This comes from interest from several accounts.
    a) maturing regular saver @ 8%
    b) 3 year isa >5% (one years worth of interest
    c) ISA - interest paid monthly
    The amount paid is > £1k but I have subtracted a sizeable chunk that I will need for this month's expenditure. Pleased to be reporting a positive figure.

  • Number 13 TinaBallerina reporting £250 for August, I had got my food spending a bit more under control but now I am trying to resist all the lovely new Christmas food that is coming into the shops, I tell myself I will put it away for Christmas and then end up breaking into it on a cold, gloomy November day.  I am going to try to have the motto this year that if I don't buy it in first place I can't eat it.

    I've managed to adjust my timings this month and put away my savings a bit earlier than usual - also having (finally!) sold a car after being given a company vehicle I have a bit more to put aside this month;
