Penny_less #60 reporting for July
£1565.46
thank you1 -
Number 13 TinaBallerina reporting £545.42 for July, this will be a deviation from my norm as my £3k target is a stretch target for me and I am only managing more this month as I got a bonus at work. Thank you for doing the colour formatting on the spreadsheet, that is a bit of extra motivation1

Thanks as always to @Suffolk_lass for stepping in to update over the last week or so. I do not get on here as much at the moment. Good call on conditional formatting tinkering too and I am sure it is motivating for savers.
I have moved over £350 to regular savers for August and that will be the only savings this month due to our holiday in South Africa in September and having to pay out for flights for a family holiday next year. I am still over the £12k though so happy with that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025 #1 £667.95/£162.90
Save £12k in 2025 #1 £12000/£70003 -
Just putting this here for later reference - my August regular savings have all gone out, so I have put my standard £1,000 away. However, it is now 'summer' and we have kids holiday clubs and a family holiday to get through, so I think I'm likely to take £1,000 out of my slush fund (easy access savings) to pay for it, rather than feeling the pinch throughout, which might somewhat put a dampener on the time to otherwise make memories.
I feel like I should therefore report August as a £0 month as I'm paying into some savings but taking out of another. I'm not too worried by it, I am still ahead and have had good news recently that means our disposable income should go up in the next couple of months, making my target very achievable and in fact I should be able to exceed it pretty comfortably.
I continue to monitor it all closely so will report back at the end of the month officially.Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:- Regular Savings £7,400/£10,000
