    #16 Gem-Gem reporting £7,243 for August.
Salary for the next few months has been paid in advance.
HMRC has been paid in full for last year and this year. I am expecting to get some back next year.
Till the end of the year I will now only be reporting interest savings. Money needed for the next few months has been put aside and not been included in this total.

I have tweaked the conditional formatting in the tracker spreadsheet as we have passed the end of July - so the thresholds for the three shades of green begin at 58% now, then dark green is 79% and exceeding your target remains at over 100%. (I have left the differential between the two shades of amber at 33%). So if your total is between 33 and 57% you are in pale amber now.

Obviously this is based on an even savings rate, averaged over the year, which only the minority follow, but it acts as a little nudge (an incentive for me, at least) as I can see if I am on track or falling behind.

Here is a link to the spreadsheet

Hello everyone, time for an update. Every month so far this year I’ve managed to achieve my monthly target of £1000 to ensure I hit my target for the year 🙏 However, this time, for the first time this year, I’m very happy to report in with a higher than expected amount. I doubt that this will become the norm unfortunately. But, time will tell….

                        #18 Topscooby £1500 for August please 💷👌
