  • #29 reporting in with a belated and sad -£355.60 for June. Car repairs, new vacuum and needing a hotel to visit family all came at the same time as an unexpected move-out from my housemate. Still, rainy days are what savings are for, and it really rained in June. July is looking slightly sunnier so far.

I received some inheritance which has been squirrelled away sensibly, but future months likely to be all in the minus as I am not going to be in work for a bit - apologies this will mess up your averages ;)

#58 - Here is my update for July 24

    Total to add + £859.68

Only leaves an avg of £568 needed a month going forward to hit the £12k. Well happy.
  • #34 ReleaseTheStars £1224.90 for July
I've managed to pick up some extra work this month, which is a relief as I lost a main income source recently. Not sure how long it'll last, but I'm making hay while the sun shines!

Thanks as always for running this challenge.

#14 declaring -£2564.56 this month. This is mainly van repairs and upgrades, which are covered by last months car sale.

Think I'm going to be a bit short of target, perhaps £18k depending on how things go with the van. But we'll see :)

    Hope everyone is doing ok!

Think I’m over target now but savings for the next few months may be lower due to the freedom of retirement and booking last minute holidays!

Apologies for the late update! June turned out more expensive than planned, so I saved £0. But on the bright side, I didn't have to dip in to any existing savings pots! Happy saving
