ThisIsWeird said:If it is an element, you can bet it won't be covered under warranty...I can bet it will. What is not included
• Any accidental damage.
• Theft or loss of the Product (or any part of it).
• The replacement of regularly replaced items/consumable items, including:
• Built-in batteries, except for Electric Scooters where the built-in-battery is included.
• Bulbs and lamps.
• Vacuum cleaner belts.I wouldn't call heating elements "regularly replaced items/consumable items".That was from Currys' website. Beko - https://www.beko.co.uk/guarantee-terms
BTW, I see online chat option at Currys - https://www.currys.co.uk/services/webchat.html

"I am sorry to hear about the problems that you are experiencing. Unfortunately, we can only help with computing and television technical related queries at this email address.
As your item is still covered by the manufacturer warranty, our approved repair company carries out all repairs. The company that we use for this item is the manufacturer."

So the retailer MUST deal with it – don't let it palm you off.

I read this as Curry's have the responsibility, but they will use the manufacturer repair team to hopefully solve the issue.
This happened to me with a newish Bosch oven going wrong. The retailer referred me to Bosch, who sent someone round to fix it ( which they did ).
Better to get the manufacturer to fit a new element than let Curry's 'experts' loose on it.

I have already mentioned that I am disabled and unable to speak on the phone - but they still insist on repeating the same thing again and again "Sorry to hear that your product has developed a fault. Unfortunately, we can only help with technical related queries for computers and electronics at this email address. Please call our First Service line on the number below, where you will be directed to the approved repairer.0344 561 1234 and when prompted choose option 2, then option 1"
