Thanks Beanie.
Dancing - I reached out to previous cleaner for a visit. She will let me know. A different friend hopes to come a week on Monday.
Trying not to take next meds until 5 at the earliest or ideally 6!
A family member rang me earlier today in the middle of a deep sleep so was gutted. I seem to be woozy most of the day on these meds and only wake properly in the evening mAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I woke up in the night but managed with Ibuprofen and tens machine. Back on morphine from 7am though...
Thanks @lucielle for saying you'd join me in my weight loss journey. Good luck 🍀 with your plans goals.
I've lost 12lb in 12 days linked to this condition so am at a painful advantage. This experience which could reoccur at any time until the operation is an excruciating way of underlining the perils of eating too much fat and carrying excess weight. Plus I've lost my appetite and most of my favourite treats are on the banned list. Organised hospitals online promote eating food with less than 3 % fat to help manage the condition.
Thankfully they do offer some sweet options like meringues, jelly sweets etc.
My dryer is due to arrive imminently. After that hoping to make myself shower and may just go back to bed. I came downstairs pretty soon after taking morphine as didn't want to risk rushing for the delivery guys and falling.
After lots of tears and tantrums spread across yesterday afternoon and today I've got my new video doorbell working. Someone had thrown away the instructions and the codes which made it all harder than necessary.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Lucielle - I replied.
Well the dryer arrived this morning so that was good. I eventually made it back upstairs and had a much needed shower and cleaned my teeth late this afternoon. That wiped me out for hours. I then gathered various dirty / damp smelling clothes and washed them. They are now testing my new dryer.
I've had a slightly better food day: 2 slices of bread and a banana, noodle soup, ham, very small jacket potato, some salad leaves, 6 mini tomatoes and a spring onion. Tiny squirt of reduced fat salad cream. Some fruit smoothie - small glass. A few sweets. I've done another food order with more of what I'm allowed to eat on it - I didn't fully understand when I did my last order.
I played a tiny bit with art today but my heart wasn't in it. I watched some tiny places on Utube - and it reaffirmed that the views matter as much as the home - and I'm blessed in both regards.
I still have a fever and pain - but manageable with meds. Been counting down more between meds today - don't know if that's because I've eaten more and that's affected it or whether its the exhaustion relating to basic things like showering. Did a miniscule amount of tidying.
Feel like I'm spending too much but also feel this is hopefully a one off situation - so going with it. I've ordered some basic binoculars, a window bird feeder, some food etc. Hopefully that will bring me joy.
Hope all's well with you all. Really appreciate your support. I have almost zero concentration (morphine) so done very little diary reading sorry.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Blackcats
I've been wide awake and uncomfortable/in pain for the last 2 hours. After 45 mins using the electric blanket as a heat pack I took more morphine and then half an hour later paracetamol and anti sickness meds... Still not right. Was having weird dreams earlier so now listening to music and catching up on diary land. Frustrated as want to be asleep....
I ordered some binoculars, a window bird feeder etc. Hopefully it will give me joy.

Oh yes, Morphine Land …. A very strange place to be. You are right to go with it. And don’t worry too much about your sleep being a bit all over the place atm - your body is busy doing healing and tidying up its internal ‘messes’ from the hospital so don’t worry too much about the external for now 😉 There will come a point where clarity will return and you will feel a lot better, more ‘like you’, and be ready to carpe diem again - but it’s not now.Hoping the views are clear so you can ride your vision out on them and the window bird feeder brings you joy.KKAs at 15.07.25:
