Glad to hear you are back home and on the mend
a months rest will hopefully see you back up to normal
please ignore your to do list !DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Hello SavingHolmes. Congratulations on the new roof, that's a good job to get done and out the way. I'm so sorry to hear you were so poorly and in the hospital. It's good you're home and have been given sufficient time off to recoup. Get well soon.
Can I ask what the Salt Trilogy is that you're listening to? It sounds like something I could do with too. Thank you.

Thanks all.

Barely eating anything and even that doesn't hang around. I thought I'd cracked it by cooking macaroni sweet version but forgot to add sugar. Will add sugar when I next go down and leave it to steep overnight.
I finally tracked the horrific damp smell. It was a load of wet washing lying forgotten despite a myriad of visitors. Re-washed this morning. Dragged a chair outside with multiple breaks and hung the clean washing on new whirly while sat on it. I need to buy new TD but have decision fatigue so this was easier. I'm hoping it rains as some of it still didn't smell great despite being freshly washed.
I kept dropping like a stone in and out of sleep today. The handyman came and continued through the list. He's put a pair of pull bars in the downstairs loo as I'm very unsteady currently and something about the tiny space makes it worse. He's part of my safety net as the hospital wanted someone around all the time really. Two birds one stone.
A friend also came as planned but I was fast asleep and it took me a while to 'come to'. She's my best friend so didn't want to miss that. I took the last of the most effective medicine at the start of her visit....
