Octopus saving sessions

I must admit, I found the "don't use gas or electric" the more amusing part of that comment. In keeping with the spirit of discussion elsewhere, it conjured imagery of feeding logs into the soap dispenser of a washing machine.Qyburn said:
I'm sure not "everyone" can get them, but then not everyone has gas either. I bought in four cu.m in the Autumn at a price which equates to around 5.5p/kWh. Cheaper than oil if not gas.MultiFuelBurner said:And where does everyone get logs for free or cheaper that gas per kWh as an example?
Edit, plus six cu.m unseasoned at around 2.5p/kWh, stocking up for next year or the year after.

So when do you think we'll be treated to another session? Are there going to be more test sessions or are we just waiting for the real thing?0

So when do you think we'll be treated to another session?
The next time there is an anticyclonic gloom. So more than a week, if the weather forecast is correct.

There’s 6 more tests to be ran before March is up, but when exactly they happen is still anyone’s guess.mmmmikey said:So when do you think we'll be treated to another session? Are there going to be more test sessions or are we just waiting for the real thing? The next round of tests are slightly different in that if high enough participation levels are expected NGESO will be operating the tests with “competitive” pricing rather than the standard £3/kWh the tests have paid out up to this point (translates to £2.25/kWh for Octopus customers).
The tests should otherwise still be 1 hour long each and the start times will continue to be staggered between different suppliers where needed.Moo…2
