Octopus saving sessions

Yes, the Octoplus free electricity sessions have been rather elusive so far. Perhaps we'll see these around the summer price plunges to complement the Saving Sessions in winter.

Octopus power ups for selected areas plus Octopus did suggest this year during the saving events some free energy period (s)

I am with Octopus and take part in the savings sessions but hadn’t heard about free electricity!

Incorrect. The post we are talking about states he hasn't heard about the free electricity, yet there are posts about people getting it. These are people that are part of power ups. There has been no free electricity via saving sessions.

It was a discussion between myself and @devongardener to be honest you butted in and incorrectly presumed power ups when I was discussion free electricity within the Octopoints events not the power ups which are only for a few selected areas.

Feel free to but in again with info on those free sessions especially if you.or anyone has received an invite yet (not power ups to be clear)

Why and how is that relevant? Do log stoves not need logs to work? And where does everyone get logs for free or cheaper that gas per kWh as an example?

Looks like many have 200 bonus points or 25p. Just checked and we do to.

I have a random 200 bonus points but the 12th is the session I missed completely and couldn't opt in (I woke up after it started!).

I'm sure not "everyone" can get them, but then not everyone has gas either. I bought in four cu.m in the Autumn at a price which equates to around 5.5p/kWh. Cheaper than oil if not gas.

Edit, plus six cu.m unseasoned at around 2.5p/kWh, stocking up for next year or the year after.
