If they work out the top 20% of savers they probably base it on the percentage saved. So if you completely switch off at the main switch you are saving 100%, even if you only actually save a fraction of a kwh against normal use at that time.
I did not turn off at mains, carried on using laptop as normal.
Probably running on the battery most of the time
    Nope .......
Unless your lappy battery is snafu’d then it probably was……
Stick a tapo or such like and check the drain

Loads of laptops have removeable batteries.

  • Looks like about £40 here in the Octopoints account.

Just wondering who is cashing in and who is waiting as Octopus said something about some offers.

I was going to donate some to those in need but news of the £16 on the standing charge for others debt has bought out the Grinch in me. But like the Grinch in the end I will probably still.donate some.

Have left mine for the time being, as I want to see if any other attractive options appear. I don't have high expectations, but you never know...
  • Up to about £33 so far, will probably keep holding until I’ve got at least a month’s worth of credit to cash out or maybe until March after the next round of sessions are over. No particular reason why, mainly just to simplify keeping tally of this year’s earnings by cashing out all in one go.
    Moo…
  • I’ll keep mine for now and probably cash it in early next year when I get a refund on any credit remaining on my account. I have built up a large credit thanks to Tracker and should have no problems covering winter and early spring bills.

Now had 20 bonus points added dated 21 December, I believe these are for the 29th November session which was advertised as 100 points minimum, and I've previously had 80 credited for that session as my results.

I know now despite what people are being told on Twitter by Octopus, to wait for the 200 x2 opt in points from more recent sessions.

Rumours of free Electricity Christmas day 12-3pm just for power ups at the moment.

Shame just a few miles away.
