I got my results for the four December savings sessions, 13,364 points / £16.70, which I think is a pretty good deal for zero inconvenience. Hopefully there will be another four in January!

Looking forward to getting our battery so I can play too.

The time of day is awkward for us, we don't use a whole lot over that time of day, baseline around 0.90kWh for 1700-1800. It's not a good time to try and cut either (without getting domestic grief), I guess thats why those are the times.

What you can do when you have the batteries, if you do not get a cheap rate window at another time, is to set them to do any importing normally at that time, but when you get a saving session set them to export in that window, if you normally exported 10kWh to fill the battery and instead you export 10kWh in that window you would get paid for a saving of 20kWh, which would be a pretty decent payment!

Much the same numbers here and no inconvenience either - fingers crossed for more of the same next year.

I also have 54 bonus points showing on my account immediately after the savings sessions points so I assume they are related, but I can't for the life of me see how they've been calculated. At a value of 7p it's not something I'm going to lose any sleep over, but does anyone else have bonus points and do you know how they were calculated?

Not seen any figures for what had to be reached to be in the top 20% - or was that just for the latest one?

Exactly, although SSEN limits us to 4kW export.

I think that was just for 19/12 which still shows as calculating for me - the previous 3 got me 1544 points each compared to 904 for the one before that, the 3 close together meant there was little chance to raise my average consumption any further over that time and I cannot use less than zero.

  • 2 of the sessions no data, rewarded 800 pts both sessions
saying that other sessions i was getting 880-920 so no big loss
i know in future do the washings, ironing on cheap days if poss and cooking between 5-6

We're up to £41 with one session of about £4.60 still to come.  Will nearly cover the cost of imported electric for December.
