We were in the top 20% but we did export nearly 2 kwh so that's hardly surprising.
We did the same - 2.5 kWh exported the last session

    PV 5.04kWp SW facing
    Solar Battery 6.5 kWh
    🐙 Intelligent Go

Mortgage freedom January 2024 - paid off 7 years early by making overpayments where we could.

  • If they work out the top 20% of savers they probably base it on the percentage saved. So if you completely switch off at the main switch you are saving 100%, even if you only actually save a fraction of a kwh against normal use at that time.

The only time I ever turned off at the main circuit breaker was the very first session a year ago when there was a more significant bonus for being in the top 10%(?)
"I cut down 99% (1.07kWh)", all I had running was my broadband router. No battery or solar panels here.

I saved 100% compared to normal (as anyone would if they switched off at the meter), obviously you didn't need to cut down 100% to make the top 20% of the opted in savers.
  • The last two sets of results available for me there's a discrepancy between the Streamlit app and the actual results, Streamlit overestimating by 128 and 136 points.

The most recent session, someone had a shower so we saved nothing!

Results are in for 12th & 14th December, but no 200 bonus points promised via WhatsApp for each session.
The results email I received says:

Any opt-in bonuses and spot prizes you might've won will be added to your Octopoints balance separately within a week.
