We switched to Cosy at the beginning of the month so the heating is off 4-7pm; I did think 'bang goes our easy money for savings sessions' (not that I remembered in time, for the last one for which I signed up!) but looks like there wasn't going to be any earnings to be had* now anyway, with Octopus' bids keeping being rejected.

*fun with tenses, I have no idea if that's actually right
Early days but what are you averaging on Cosy we also have the ASHP off 4-7pm well infact because the houseis well insulated off from 4-10pm.when then next Cosy period starts
c.23p/kWh, mainly because the person who spends the longest in the shower (electric) usually showers at 9am.  Although still having to cook during the 4-7pm peak period helps bring that average up too, but I knew that going into it.  I only care that it's cheaper than Flexible (25.57p here), and currently than Agile and Tracker too.

I think without changing anything, doing comparisons before, the average was about 24.5, which is what helped convince me it was the right move - with zero load shifting it was still the cheapest option.

We've found it a bit chilly by 6.15/6.30, so definitely couldn't have heating off any longer!  But I knew from previous savings sessions that up to 2hrs off was alright, as nobody noticed

Will opt in just in case there's a small reduction by accident, but 12p? Really? Even if I export from my batteries that's only 27p and it cost me 13.53p to charge them overnight.

ETA, have decided not to opt in. Think it's sending the wrong message.

I'm on holiday this week, so no prospect of making any savings. I'll leave Home Assistant to automatically sign me up (if the script actually works). Maybe I'll get a couple of points for taking part.

I've signed up, but don't expect to save anything as it's not a time I use much.

Genuine question - do we increase the possibility of future power cuts by not demonstrating we can "put something back" unless we're paid for the effort? I've signed-up and saved about half a kW in an hour just to show willing, really.

Out of curiosity I've just seen the latest offer, shocking! even with a small solar and battery setup the saving sessions are no longer worth it for us, we are not even signing up any more. I suppose the whole thing is now looking at how low they can go before no one buys into it any more... I'm out ;)
