It seems that despite Octopus claiming :
"We'll email you about upcoming Sessions. Keep an eye on your inbox to start saving."
They don't, because I have missed 3 sessions last month....
How am I supposed to know when these saving sessions are planned?
And yes I am opted in
IIWY I'd use the app notification from the Octopus app.
There weren't any this time, that I could see.  Only e-mails.
It's under Octoplus. It is a relatively recent feature, i think.

Last year the app sent notifications so I knew about it without opening the app or checking my e-mails.  That didn't happen this time.

Though perhaps there was indeed a signup link under Octoplus that I didn't see because I only opened the app after I'd signed up via e-mail each time this year.

No notifications and no WhatsApp this year.  No much at all.

Not worth it for us and not worth the hassle for suppliers.  Well done NESO on killing what could actually have been a worthwhile scheme.

Perhaps too early to say that - it'd make sense of them to start low and build up to see where there is an appetite.

In the meantime paying through the nose to import or fire up standby power supplies when paying us a decent amount to reduce usage/export home battery stored electric may be a cheaper option.

I dont think its too early to say that. I was about to propose we find a plot and order a headstone for the scheme.
