Kinda sums up how most feel, it's not worth the trouble for a few pence.
Not worth it for us and not worth the hassle for suppliers.  Well done NESO on killing what could actually have been a worthwhile scheme.
Perhaps too early to say that - it'd make sense of them to start low and build up to see where there is an appetite.
I dont think its too early to say that. I was about to propose we find a plot and order a headstone for the scheme.

Yet, last year was far better in terms of pay out.

So it's going the wrong way.

Would agree that it's not worth the cost to suppliers.

It was the right direction, but it's overshot by a long way. Previous years payouts were more than they needed to be, but the stance from the outset this year was something along the lines of "we don't think we'll need this any more, but we might throw people a few bones just to go through the motions".
Would really like to see the actual cost impact of not accepting bids on those live events where it could have made a difference.

We switched to Cosy at the beginning of the month so the heating is off 4-7pm; I did think 'bang goes our easy money for savings sessions' (not that I remembered in time, for the last one for which I signed up!) but looks like there wasn't going to be any earnings to be had* now anyway, with Octopus' bids keeping being rejected.

*fun with tenses, I have no idea if that's actually right
