I plan to continue tomorrow, then run another bill.
Mid Week to ensure home all day isn't over my normal costs.
I'll continue with DQ service check, if it results are useful, Dimplex need lots of info.
It's been useful thread which started with Reset and one or two blips.

Just for my peace of mind, can I check you have NOT set "charge times" per the advanced settings (page 31) of this manual?Dandytf said:

Hmmm…I suspect that is a range of timings, rather than actual - Economy 7 is called that because it gives 7 hours - and the time range above is clearly in excess of that. In order to ensure that you are load shifting effectively, I really would do some legwork to find out what your actual times are!Dandytf said:EssexHebridean said:If your E7 kicks in at 2300, then charging should stop from 0600.18 South Scotland 23:00 - 07:30

thanksE7 (at least, E7 with a dumb meter) lasts for more than seven hours in Scotland. This might sound illogical, but it's how it is!N. Hampshire, he/him. Well there you go - you learn something new every day, I thought it was just the THTC tariffs that were an oddity up there. Thanks Qriz, and apologies OP for dating your E7 hours!QrizB said:EssexHebridean said:

Maybe deserves a new thread, I'm left wondering until latest SP PDF bill arrives soon.
Cost wise i've gone from 10/11-29/11=137.73gbp
to todays shock Meter reads
30/11-05 Jan=260.75
What's changed is I have raised DQ into 21.c/22.c
Importantly daily units have increased to 30kwh range-most days.
I'll be able to compare kw's once tomorrows PDF is available.
Is it honestly going to cost 100 or more pounds per month to use 21/22.c over winter.
