Options
Planning Calculations once I return home today.
I rec' unusually High Rise in Sept-Oct' SP Eco7 bill.
p.s. hopefully this isn't due t DQ Storage heater which only needs an hour or two overnight, with some fan to release daily.

=216kwh+ Day Rate
=561kwh+ Night Rate
=SP had recently recommended I reduce my DD to 142 approx, until this latest shock bill.
This bill total was 199 approx!
Is this normal as I don't recall ever needing to pay close to 200 per month Electric Only.

First question would be where are you getting the numbers from (are you taking them directly from your meter)?
Second is what was your usage on your last bill/is this bill and the last bill based on your readings or estimated?
Third, how do you heat your water and are you sure it's not been accidentally turned on/have you stayed up until night rate clicks on to check what's actually drawing power?
An increase this month from last month might not be unexpected (depending on how much of an increase) given you'll be using more heating this month - so last question, what type of storage heaters do you have and are they the kind that automatically adjust the amount of power they draw for the weather?I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.1 -

I wonder if this Is DQ related as I had addditional hours programmed to heat up pre Autumn even if room temp was +18c.
Maybe I was too late removing these hours until Clocks changed.
It could have meant I was being charged peak rate overnight.
It could explain over 500kwh extra night rate.

If you're not sure how to switch between rates, if you can take a picture or tell us what kind of meter it is we should be able to help.I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.1 -
Our gas use in October was above average due to the temperatures, double September in fact. We went into full winter mode in 2nd week where it is not usually until the last week / first week in November.

If this is to be decent Smart Estimate then maybe 199 is correct.
I was kind of Spoiled during Summer when trying some Temps for a few days for DQ Install.
