If you're not sure how to switch between rates, if you can take a picture or tell us what kind of meter it is we should be able to help.

Yes, as expected climate change certainly has an effect on seasonal weather.MACKEM99 said:
Must be due to global warming🤔molerat said:Our gas use in October was above average due to the temperatures, double September in fact. We went into full winter mode in 2nd week where it is not usually until the last week / first week in November.1 -
I think the 'El Nino' is supposed to be causing a colder winter and hotter summer (and drier?) for the next year or two.I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.0

DQ Temps range from 18-22c 22 is over weekend, has been averaging 19/20 when wfh.QrizB said:Dandytf said:Is this normal as I don't recall ever needing to pay close to 200 per month Electric OnlyHow much electricity - day and night - did you use in the same period last year? What temperature are your DQ SHs set to?
Allowing for £15 of standing charge, that's an average of 23.7p/kWh, which is in the right sort of ballpark for E7 where you're using 2x as much at night as day.Dandytf said:216kwh+ Day Rate, 561kwh+ Night RateThis bill total was 199 approx!
2022 isn't fair comparison, though 2 yrs comparison has been posted via another dq thread.
yes 199 seems to be correct, I've cut one hour from start/end times, this morning it was 1.70 cost, without washer dryer overnight.
I'll leave 21 or more to Non wfh days.

Fingers crossed. On a forecast note, I never did understand the people who frequent weather forums such as Netweather.tv praying for beast from the east type winters.Qyburn said:These guys are probably due to post another update, but as of late October were still tending to forecast a mild or average Winter.
