I was adopted at birth and I traced my birth Mum, when my mum died 7 years ago, I was 38, so I left it late, but I did not want to upset my mum.

anyway, it turns out that mum thought about me all the time and we get on really well. hubby just droping her pressies round as we speak.

so I have no doubt in my mind that they both will thinking of you x

Dh is currently playing OS in my kitchen!!:p Hes making chocolate oranges with the kids!! Has he been on here without me knowing getting ideas as hes never made them before??????????????????? :rolleyes: Hes cooked all the bacon for brekie tommorow and hes on the baileys, i think we have swapped bodys as thats normally me!!!!LOL:rotfl:

Everything is prepared and ready and im now off to open the wine and enjoy winding the kids up to the point of popping:D :rotfl: :T

I have traced who I am (Carol Ann) at Register House. Not my name now. Also registered with adoption agency. The hardest thing I had to do was tell my children they had an older sister out there somewhere.

Afternoon all,just popping on for a bit of a moan..sorry I know it's Christmas Eve.

Miss Twit who is 14 was walking home from town, about 5 minutes along busy roads, when she was mugged at our doorstep. :eek:
The little !!!!!! grabbed at her bags, but only managed to get one of her bags, the one with her wrapping paper and her purse in.
The police have been and the PC was great, but Miss Twit is very shaken up they have taken her coat and scarf to try and get some DNA.

My poor baby, I feel so awful that this has happened to her.

Granny Broon, happy birthday for tomorrow, have you registered on Genes Re-united.
My FIL and his brother lost touch with their mother's family after she died and their dad re-married. FIL was about 5 at the time.
This summer, a cousin found my details on Genes, they had been looking for the family for years but not managed it.
The family is now in touch again.

On one bright note........... My DD rang this evening, to say that her boyfriend has proposed, and she's accepted!:T He's a lovely boy, they've been together 3 years and have lived together since April, I'm so pleased, made my Christmas!

my god, what a terrible thing to happen, today of all days. Some people have no values or morals:eek: This type of bad karma will come back to smack them in face. No good will come to them :mad:
