Thats it, im done - pressies sorted, chocolates on the tree, stockings at the bottom of their beds, treasure hunt clues written ready to be hidden in the morning. All the veg is ready for the morning and the dinner table is set, bucks fizz in the fridge ready for breakfast - all i need to do now is leave the trail of chocolate coins that father christmas leaves wherever he has been. The video camera is fully charged, so im ready to go - i just hope they dont wake too early in the morning!!!
I hope everyone has the most wonderful christmas, and even those with poorly ones are able to enjoy it. Anyone who has lost someone dear to them, i hope that they can still enjoy their day, as their loved ones would want them too.
Take care, with loads of love from all of us here MERRY CHRISTMAS xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
EDIT - Santa is in Senegal, so on his way back here, so id better get to sleep quickly!!!0 -
Hiya
DD has finally dropped off to sleep, but only on the understanding that OH is to sleep in her room! So he's pulled the mattress of the spare bed and set up camp in her room, with her sleeping right next door to the door.
He's just fetched all the pressies, but DS is still awake! Grrrrrrr!
Right, time for a cuppa!
Good night all

Shall I have my yearly drink of advocat?
I have no FC stuff to do cos Midget doesn't like him and finding presents in her room would scare the pants off her. She's not a brave girly and she has no idea about this Christmas thing yet.
Her birthday was uneventful apart from the fact that she started teething again so bright red cheeks and not eating much... can't wait for tomorrow now, she'll behave horrendously in front of guests and I will look like a bad mother for either ignoring her behaviour or for dealing with it.
Remind me again why Christmas is a fun, family time?I saw two shooting stars last nightI wished on them but they were only satellitesIs it wrong to wish on space hardwareI wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0 -

Goodnight all! My DS3 has just gone off to bed, he's a policeman, up at 5am to go to work to keep all the naughty people off our backs;) He's the reason I'll be cooking Christmas dinner for 8.30 pm tomorrow:eek: But he's lovely, and very worth it;)
( Just a shame he's not worth a 2.something payrise unlike our wonderful MPs who deserve 10% )You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

Happy christmas everyone.
Thanks for all your good wishes for Miss Twit, she was unharmed, just shocked. We hope it doesn't knock her confidence too much.
I'll go and check if she's asleep, then I can get her pressies wrapped.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Happy Christmas Everyone! :j :j :j
We sat with the girls and watched a DVD of 'A wonderful Life' this afternoon whilst munching on mince pies, chocs and mulled wine...lovely!
The veg is all ready for tomorrow and we had a takeaway for our tea so I've had a good day.
I didn't make it to the 11pm service at church as I was too tired. I did a reading at last night's festival and carols and couldn't face going out again in the cold and rain.
The girl's presents are under the tree and DH has put together DD1's keyboard and DD2's drumkit  so it will be very noisy here in the morning.
Must go to bed and sneak their stockings in their bedrooms.0 -
