Good evening everyone,
PP - sorry you have had a rough day, but really pleased they have let you come home for christmas, take care and have a lovely time xx
Stef - poor DGS, hope he will be ok xx
Csarina, Grannybroon and Mis whata - huge ((HUGS)) for you.
Hester and Crazys DD - hope you feel better soon xx (also Rzl, hope the lemsip works!!!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Crazys OH and Ophies DD
Well, just put my 2 to bed, and im now tying the christmas chocolates for the christmas tree (why dont they come already to hang???) - i will then finish laying the table and get the veg ready for tomorrow, hopefully they will then be asleep, and i can do the pressies.
We had a lovely time at the pantomime, unfortunatly we went to both Asda and Sainsburys, but neither of them had much reduced (well, they did, but still expensive prices, so didnt bother, although did get the children a bag of grapes each, and a bag of apple pieces, each bag 2p each!!!) then i treated myself to a chinese takeaway - cost me £16, but i had a huge plateful tonight, and i now have 3 other portions in the freezer, so when im feeling down about the lack of money, i have a ready made takeaway!! I know i should spend my birthday money (i got £36, it had been £35 but DD insisted i take another pound, as then i had a pound for each year, i do have lovely children!) on more pratical things, but i very rarely have a takeaway, so this really was a great treat and will be when i have the ones from the freezer now!
We have watched Miracle on 34th Street, ive had a glass of wine and now im sharing my evening with Johnny Depp (ok, hes on telly, but a girl can dream!)
Anyway, must finish these chocs, and get started on that veg - i hope everyone has a lovely evening, and for those who wont be around tomorrow - MERRY CHRISTMAS, have a wonderful one xx
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The following is a video clip of the turn of events shortly after Aussie made a surprise appearance.....
WARNING.....Do not watch if you are easily offended or of a nervous disposition as there are scenes of Aussie flashing her knickers.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!
Just wanted to pop on here and send extra special hugs to all of you who are not feeling the Xmas spirit for whatever reason - and a little special note to LearningToSave who I know, from Facebook status updates, has had a rough couple of days with a poorly DD - I hope she's back home to you soon honey. Also GrannyBroon, hugs and kisses to you. As others have said, I'm sure your mother and daughter think of you often and miss you as much as you do them. PenPin & all others who are poorly, big hugs to you also. Whatatwit, I'm a big believer in Karma and the scum that mugged your DD will get what's coming. I hope she is ok.
I'm not so much in the Christmas spirit - am at my parents house and, although it's lovely to have us all back together (v. rare as my sister is a student in London and can't afford to sacrifice beer money for train fare very often :rotfl:) we're all doing each others' nuts in now!!!! I also feel very lonely as I miss exOH dreadfully - we're very much a part of each others life still and I shall see him on Boxing Day, but it isn't the same and I feel like I'm missing a huge part of myself.
Anyway, enough of the moans, Santa is in Latvia now so I must go and put my stocking out and hope that my antics in Sheffield City Centre over the past few nights have not negated a full year of almost-good behaviour
Love to one and all xxx Roz xxx

update while I'm waiting for haribo's latest to load. dgs is on his way back from the hossie - exoh gone to pick them up (eventualy - honestly I told him 5 itmes that they were waiting outside A and E) he has had a shot and an x-ray but all seems fine. Bless them they gave him a present too. The nurse went of to get it and dd was expecting a lolly or a sticker but it was a book all wrapped up with a label saying boy 3+
exoh has arrived and not called me a c-word yet so that's good. dd11 and I have iced the cake and are pretty impressed actually. she is now wrapping all the presents for me for a tenner - i will still have to do hers though.
Right - will clear kitchen, finish making beds, have a bath, and then make a fairy tree topper thingy with dd. I can see the finsihing line - I think a coffee and baileys is in order - cheersI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Merry Christmas everyone.
Woke up to rain but it's lovely and cool. Had our breakfast and given the house a bit of a swish and swipe. Not opening any presentsuntil DGS & his parents arrive. Looking at our watches every five minutes though.
I'd say they'll be here in another hour.
Haribo :rotfl:I thought it was Bgn Rzl flashing her knickers. You just can't take her anywhere.Although she did put us on the right bus. :rotfl:(and the right train)
Stef Hope DGS is fine now. Ouch.
Whatawit How frightening for her.
Sorry to hear of others not feeling cheery this season. All the best for 2008. ByeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0
