Few more hours yet Thriftlady. It's only 9.11pm here now. I knew he wouldn't take long in NZ. Most of their population, is over here. :D

Off to hang my stocking up now Haribo. :)

    Morning all!
I am spending all day in my pjs again, haha. Got a few more things planned housework-wise. I was going to give the bathroom a deep clean, but I might leave that until after Boxing Day, as we'll be in a rush tomorrow morning and mess it up again!!

Am watching The Tigger Movie, then The Santa Clause, then The Snowman (same age as me and have watched it every year since my first Christmas), then Lemony Snickett, Princess Diaries/Chitty (tough choice-might choose Princess Diaries as have seen Chitty zillions of times), Shrek the Halls, Eastenders.... can you see the pattern forming?! I'll also be painting my nails and washing the kitchen floor, mind!

I hope that you all have a good day, am sending hugs to those who find Christmas difficult (we find it hard every year as my paternal Grandmother died on Christmas Day and we lost a Grandad last summer which was v unexpected, but anyway...) or who are ill.

    PenPin please keep us updated!

Santa is now in Mackay, Australia!!

I know I've been missing for months but life has got crazy since I started my new job! (I know you all warned me it would  )

But I just wanted to nip on a wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to getting back chatting with you all in 2008.

Have a great one everyone and as always please take or leave the :grouphug: as needed.

  • Hi All
I didn't get on to the daily to post yesterday, we went to the in laws for lunch which was nice & what was even nicer was coming home to find the kitchen still as clean and tidy as I'd left it. We had a terrible journey home because of the fog & saw a couple of accidents, but we arrived home safely.
I have a sore throat, runny nose & a headache, probably caught the lodgers cold, she was sneezing everywhere just before she left. Still I'll dose myself up & won't let it upset the big day.
Merry Christmas if I don't get back on tomorrow.
    Have a good one.
    Hester

May I just join in and say a big thank you to everyone on here for all the brilliant tips and advise that is given out.

I have hovered on this site for over a year now and dip in and out if I think I can help with something, but what I have got out of this site has been invaluable and has helped me sort of get an organised chaos going in my house. (it was just chaos before).

May I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Happy 2008.

    Deb.
