HSBC Advance £125 bonus + £80

Hi,

I completed the required tasks by 16/11 so awaiting the initial payment.

I have received my Global Money Card but haven't received a PIN yet, have others received a separate PIN for this card?  I assume there will be one.

You can view the pin in the app, go to "more" then "manage my card".

Me & my mrs applied for our accounts at the same time, I've done everything (just waiting on payment) wheras her appication is still pending, anyone else still wiating on getting the card etc through?

Note also did this for the £80 extra bonus (so 10 x 1p transactions across the 2x bonuses). So far I've recieved the £125, expecting the £80 to come through next year as mentioned on the sign up terms

I bought some 40p vending machine coffees at work so I thought i did well to get £125 for £2.
I don't think there will ever be any better investment that can give £205 from 10p - my simple brain works that to be a return of over 200,000%!! 
If I ever get the £205 and am lucky with the Amazon 55" TV raffle that's happening on Black Friday, that cashback will have covered the initial £150 outlay for the tv. So a 55" 4K tv and an extra £55 in my pocket - all from applying for a bank account is not a bad way to spend 5 minutes

So I got the 125 - just for clarity  after reading this thread - I did not receive a text message - I used Apple Pay as well 5 times - it took 10 days after I did the last requirement which was transfer in and out 1500 - there is no rocket science at play here - I also transferred in 5 pounds to global money and used that on Apple Pay even though I did not need to - so it makes no odds what else you do - as long as you do the core tasks you will get the bonus 👍 ignore the told you so’s and FOMO’s

I was wondering this, but going from the linked terms and conditions the November 6th deadline is only concerning applying for the HSBC Premier or HSBC Advance bank account.

You then have 60 days (from account opening) to do the 4 things to receive the £125, one of them being:

"d) Apply for and fully open a HSBC Global Money Account and order a Global 

Money multi-currency debit card when you apply."

Opening this Global Money Account didn't need to be done by dealine date - I don't think it's actually possible to open at the same time as the Advance because you have to do it via the HSBC banking app, which needs account/sort code which you receive by post.

So you should be good if you can do the 4 things within 60 days

👆 that’s correct it’s not rocket science as I have said or a race either - just follow the script - no one can do it better than anyone else it’s just a computer sequence - no need to be messaging HSBC

I received all the details of my new account by text message as soon as the account was open, so I was able to set up the App well before I received anything by post.

Got my £125.... Exactly when it was due. Just waiting on the TCB becoming payable!
